Really original and different in a messed up kinda way, but good. I love how the whole story develops, I love the memories and the feeling he gets when he tries to save them and when he sees that they are fading away. I love the fact that they erased their "love story" only for it to happen again. Is like letting you know, you cannot erase a part of your life, is just gonna come back. Because if you look at Kirsten Dunst character and her obsession with her boss, after they have erased their affair. Is like ok.. you erase the memories, bu t the feelings are gonna come back.
It really really touched me. Kate Winslet's character reminded me of my ex... It's been a long time since I felt moved by a film so much... Made me cry like a baby hehe. One of my favourite films ever..
it was really good...at the end of the movie, while jim carrey and kate winslet was talking each other...beck's "everybody's gotta learn sometime" song...i've watched the end of the movie again and again...it was unbelievable...i need a cigar..
I just watched this movie over the weekend and I must say it was very touching. I'm a huge Jim Carrey fan, mostly because of his comedies, but it was great to see him play a different role. I used to want to dye my hair that electric blue color, it's so pretty! I would definitely watch this movie numerous times.
I thought that it was an awsome movie....guess that I'm not all too original in here. I loved how it showed that if you're destined to do something or be with someone, it's going to happen. You can't run away from it. If something is supposed to happen, it will.
it's an incredible movie, so yes. wierd to see this thread come back too... I just watched this again last night and definitely had a different take this time around (like my 6th, but it's been awhile). that girl's nothing but trouble... run joel! run!
I though the movie was awsome and jim carrey was amazing as was kate but then kate winslet is one of my fav actress.
Whoever said it earlier, I forget who... Kate Winslet did look great with dyed hair. This was a much better role than Titanic anyway. Thank God for not having Celine Dion in this movie.
Oh my God, that movie is, in my opinion, the best movie of 2004 - I absolutely adored it, it's brilliant.
it's too bad that a lot of movies like this don't get the credit they deserve. Instead it's all those brain-dead teen movies......or those ones with the really famous actors who win all these awards for not even being that great. I dont know who else if going to agree with me on this, but one example is the year that Moulin Rouge (I don't know if I spelled that right) came out. That is an awsome movie...Baz Lurman has the coolest ideas...and I really think that Nicole Kidman should have gotten the "best actress" for that movie, and instead it was Hallie Berry for something....I didn't think that was fair. The great movies are always being swept under the rug. I don't know if anyone saw "pieces of april," but I thought that was an awsome movie...but even the kids at the video store were like, "it sucked. if you hate it as much as we did, we'll give you a free movie." I watched it and couldn't understand what they were talking about. blah...I'm just rambing on and on. I still loved this movie, though.
i saw it once. i thought it was pretty good. great story, great characters, great performances.....but it was really hard for me to watch because the kate winslet character reminded me far too much of an ex girlfriend, and i was reminded of a few to many painful things from the past. but it was still a great movie, just one i don't really want to watch a lot.
lmao, i love nesta's sig. I work at a tim hortons, and we ALWAYS have at least one cop car in our parking lot. It's sad! The ONLY bonous.....which is kind of a pathetic one, but they all get to know you so well in a smaller city like mine, that when someone that works there gets pulled over, we're off the hook. lol. But there's been some mornings at work, when there's nothing BUT cop cars in the parking lot. It's funny.
