has anyone heard of a something called Shake? my friend was telling me that you grind pot over a fine screen for a while untill all of the THC is powdered. then you put it in a blunt or a cig or just smoke it in a bowl. I know this is one method for making hash. Is it efficient? Is it as simple as running your pot over a screen and collecting the dust?

He said after 1 or 2 puffs he was gone.

You can shake buds or leaf over a silk screen to collect resin glands. Its a pretty shitty way of making hash, but it still works.

I disagree. The best bowls I've ever smoked were all shake.

    You're refering to silk-screening.

It is an ancient and traditinal way to make hash in the mid-east.

Well, isn't that kief? I want a kief box - some friends have one and I'm jealous.
BTW - kief (and kef) are in my scrabble dictionary. LOL

Haha, nice. Yes, keif is loose resin glands, around here at least. Hash, simply, is resin glands compressed together.

no shake and kif are different. shake is what's left at the bottom of the bag when you take all the nugs out. kif is grinded. it's all crystals pretty much. hell yeah, i want a kif box!

I always considered shake as ground up leaf/trim material from the marijuana plant, which is generally used for making hash or honey oil, or just thrown out by the "smart ones" who think it has no THC on it.

Shake does not make hash or kief as both are derived from triochomes which are not found on shade leaves but buds and bud manicurings after a harvest!Ice water extraction is the best way to isolate the triochomes !
