My Grandmother gave me her sewing machine...it is a Bernina! It is almost 20 yrs old and sews like it is brand new. She bought it after my grandfather died with the intention of learning to sew and never did. So she only used it for hemming and mending things. It has the most amazing decorative stitches and it came with 10 different feet! Four of the stitches are different types of leaves.
Sewing is so much more fun now...lots more than my old Singer. lol

Very nice.... Very Very Nice... Your lucky.... I would take it to a sewing machine repair store and have them check it out... It could probably stand a tune up if its that old (even though it was hardley used)

Very cool! I just bought myself a Viking embroidery machine mainly because it also does really cute decorative stitches :) I love the vines and flowers. Have fun with it!!
