My Grandmother gave me her sewing machine...it is a Bernina! It is almost 20 yrs old and sews like it is brand new. She bought it after my grandfather died with the intention of learning to sew and never did. So she only used it for hemming and mending things. It has the most amazing decorative stitches and it came with 10 different feet! Four of the stitches are different types of leaves. Sewing is so much more fun now...lots more than my old Singer. lol
Lucky! We have a brother. Its a piece of crap. Especially since i dont know how to sew that well. I still havent really read the directions thorougly yet.. maybe i should..
Very nice.... Very Very Nice... Your lucky.... I would take it to a sewing machine repair store and have them check it out... It could probably stand a tune up if its that old (even though it was hardley used)
sounds like a great machine! it will probably last for many more years too. they're supposed to be real work horses! kathy
i have a singer from 1960. its in really good shape, it doesnt have 10 feet or anything like yours though. my mom got it for me for 10 dollars at goodwill.
Very cool! I just bought myself a Viking embroidery machine mainly because it also does really cute decorative stitches I love the vines and flowers. Have fun with it!!
