It's always nice to find the good in things even when it seems impossible. It's easier when you practice though so let's make a game of it. Tell me something, no matter how big or small, that was a positive thing in your day, something that you are grateful for, or something you found beauty in. It could be as simple as the way the snow sparkles in the light or a ladybug or a bit more involved. I'll go first. Today, after I turned my generator on, I saw a deer standing about 15 feet away from me. She wasn't bothered by the sound, I said hello to her and she looked at me, twitched her tail once and continued to graze as she walked around. She was completely unperturbed by my presence, she knew I wasn't a threat and it felt good to have a certain level of trust between us.
Every so often I get to see a friend of mine. She’s French (speaks very little English) in her 80’s and about 4’ +. I saw her today and she always gives me the French traditional kiss on the cheek followed by a big hug. It always makes my day!
I went on an excursion on Saturday to my local Sci-Fi Meetup group that I always have a good time at - but I stopped off in Durham, (about an hour from there) because I just had to get this Large Starry Night clock. I LOVE everything Vincent Van Gogh, and I love clocks, so I just had to have this!! It made me happy all weekend : )
I think I was in 5th grade when I first saw this painting, I was assigned it and had to write a poem about it. I can't remember what it said now, but I still remember being really proud of it.
Ha Ha, I see what you did there I am going to chose to believe that you are just grateful that the positive terminal is helping to contribute to your vehicle starting.
Yeah girl, I was really young when I saw it too. It showed up again when I got older at an ex-boyfriend's apartment. It was right above his bed, and I just remembered many mornings when he was asleep just staring at it. It was always my favorite. : )
