Sunshine on my shoulders, walking thru nature, reef snorkeling, cannabis cookies, jazz, my cat, having a roof over my head and food in the fridge. Sorry for your loss. Time will heal.
I like exercise like trimming our too-tall ficus trees, cutting back our purple sage plants that grow faster than weeds, trimming our three bougainvilleas with large thorns but very beautiful pink and red flowers. And four of Arizona's State Plant -- the notorious Oleanders from Hell. At least they're not ugly -- but they are almost not kill-able. I like to rock out with ELO, Pink Floyd, The Blasters, The Highwaymen, Depeche Mode, Styx, Roy Orbison, Willie Nelson, and many others.
Re-exploring hobbies I had when I was 13 makes me happy. Especially ... Studying. Falling down rabbit holes of information, taking notes and fully focusing on the topic I find interesting. Actually, I have a little ritual to prepare for this: I take out my favourite pen, make myself a cup of tea and put a laptop on my windowsill. I turn on "Study with me" videos, videos with relaxing ambient music, music for reading, etc. and start. I can write whatever I want, capturing my own understanding of what I've read, doodling what comes to mind. I also think it brings such peace for me because I can control how I choose what to search for, how I write individual letters and organize my notes visually.
Being healthy and able to get up everyday and go out into world and do whatever I please. I definitely enjoy sunshine and the beach, my favorite go to spot.
The smell of rain, music most specifically the Beatles, glitter, laughing to tears with my friends, my hands being able to create art, so many things I could go on forever. Thank you for this, its hard to remember things that make life worth living when you're in a depressive state. I hope you are able to feel that happy to be alive feeling everyday <#
