New video captures ICE in 'drive-by' mace attack on peaceful people on sidewalk

    excerpt:

Dozens of protesters in Phoenix, Arizona were hit in a drive-by mace attack Monday night by an apparent Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent, Phoenix New Times editor Zach Buchanan reported.

“I've been sent video from the end of the ICE raid at the Zipps on 32nd and Shea,” Buchanan wrote in a social media post on X, alongside video of the incident.

“It shows protesters – on the sidewalk, impeding no one – getting drive-by maced by an ICE agent from a truck as it rolls away down the road. Hard to see how such tactics are justifiable.”

The Haitians who Trump says are abducting people's dogs and cats and eating them in Ohio and elsewhere are set to lose their Temporary Protections Status.

    https://ohiocapitaljournal.com/2026...hio-may-soon-lose-temporary-protected-status/

    excerpt:

"Thousands of Haitians living in Ohio will lose their temporary protected status next week unless a federal court blocks it.

About 330,000 Haitians are living in the United States with Temporary Protected Status (TPS), a program that allows people from specific countries in conflict or facing natural disasters the chance to live and work in the United States for a set period of time."

Trump made the remark about Haitians eating other people's dogs and cats in live international TV during the presidential debate. Harris looked at him like he was insane.

Schumer says Trump pulling the plug on $16B tunnel project is 'insane,' 'absurd'

    excerpt:

Union officials and laborers packed the commission’s meeting room at the World Trade Center and urged the president to reverse course, arguing he was not putting America first and rather hurting workers by idling a project that is expected to eventually employ 95,000 people.

“President Trump needs to stop the war against unions and American families,” said Robert Brunotte, a Brooklyn representative of Construction and General Building Laborers' Local 79.

Schumer says Trump pulling the plug on $16B tunnel project is 'insane,' 'absurd'

    excerpt:

"Few people thought President Donald Trump would really pull the plug on the nation’s largest public works project — not even some members of his own administration.

But now work on the $16 billion train tunnels between New York and New Jersey is winding down, as POLITICO reported Tuesday morning, because Trump won’t pick up the tab for a project supported by Democrats, Republicans, labor unions, business groups and civic organizations."

One of the reasons why Trump chickened-out on his latest tariff threat on Europe (if it doesn't give him Greenland) is that Europe has developed a tactical NATO-like collective economic agreement to protect itself from Trump when he starts up another one of his economic threats. After Europe indicated it would use the 'bazooka' agreement, Trump changed his mind.

Any country that thinks it can achieve a steady, continuous, longer-term trade agreement with Trump is mistaken.

Trump will make new threats, impose new tariffs, chicken-out sometimes, then start his cycle again.

It shows how easy it is to dupe the public into believe things that aren't factual, even the most outlandish of notions.

Trump has been using the tactic in his presidential politics since 2015. The 2020 election supposedly being stolen from him is a grand example. This week the FBI raided the election offices in Atlanta to try to find proof that the election was stolen from him.

His claim about Haitians eating other people's dogs and cats is another example.

People still felt comfortable enough to reelect him even after those types of statements.

During the 2020 election, a reporter was asking people on the street if they were voting for Trump again. A lady in her 30's said no and remarked, "He's just too divisive for me." He lost the 2020 election.

Four years later in 2024, various polls showed that the public's view of Trump had softened and people wanted to go back to what they perceived as the good old days of Trump.

Trump's second term ends in January 2029. Like they did in 2024, in 2032 people will probably once again be longing for the good old days of Trump after having four years of forgetting about the violence he caused.

If they can forget about his deadly riot at the Capitol, they can forget about other violence, such as the killing of U.S.-born citizens and immigrants during his anti-immigration crusade.

It's the same airport that Trump previously sued in 1995 to try to obtain $100 million for what he said was pollution that he claimed was on Mar-a-Lago because of the jets flying overhead.

Now it looks like the airport will be renamed Trump International Airport.
