A House war powers resolution that would have restricted Trump failed in a 215-215 vote.

The head of NATO basically put a pacifier in Trump's mouth about Greenland by giving him a verbal statement that some sort of arrangement can be made later to quell Trump's irrational fears about Greenland.

Trump ramped up his Greenland rhetoric in the weeks leading up to Davos in the hopes that he could cut some sort of deal about Greenland (Iceland?) at Davos.

‘I didn’t vote for this’: As DOGE guts a $1.2 trillion industry, rural Trump voters and tourists are paying the price

    https://moneywise.com/news/i-didnt-...rump-voters-and-tourists-are-paying-the-price

    excerpt:

"Roughly 97% of Bureau of Land Management employees work outside of D.C., often in small remote towns where federal agencies are among the biggest employers (4). When ranger stations close or seasonal crews disappear, the economic fallout can spread to local gas stations, restaurants and diners, as well as hotels and motels.

According to the Bureau of Economic Analysis, outdoor recreation generated $1.2 trillion in economic output in 2023, made up 2.3% of U.S. GDP and supported five million jobs (5). States like Montana, Alaska, Vermont and Hawaii rely on outdoor recreation at twice the national average. In Montana alone, the sector pumped $3.4 billion into the state economy in 2023 (6).

Meanwhile, all of this economic impact hinges on public lands being accessible, properly staffed and well maintained."

Trump will probably try to carve out a tourism bailout plan directed at his rural voters being injured by him and Musk during their DOGE crusade.

Trump is carving out a $20 billion rescue plan for his rural voters who are being hurt badly by the Medicare cuts that he signed into law that are part of the Big Beautiful Bill that are injuring rural hospitals.

He did the same bailout for his farmers who businesses have been damaged by his relentless trade wars.

The facts, in contrast to Trump's dillusions.

China Does In Fact Have Wind Turbines, A Lot Of Them.

    excerpt:

"As a matter of fact, China has more wind and solar capacity than any other country in the world with twice as much capacity under construction than the rest of the world combined.

According to the Global Wind Energy Council’s 2024 Global Wind Report the Jiuquan Wind Power Base, sometimes knows as Gansu, is the largest onshore aggregation of wind farms in the world. Gansu currently has over 7,000 wind turbines in operation generating over 10 gigawatts of power, which is sufficient to provide power to approximately 7.5 million homes.

The National Energy Administration of China states that by the time it’s complete the Gansu project will generate over 20 GW of electricity, enough to power 15 million homes and cover thousands of square miles.

China’s total wind generation capacity is 561 GW, which is more than three times more than the United States who comes in second behind China, and 48% of the world’s share of wind power generation."

It is expected when Trump is in the room.

At the White House, a number of incidents have happened with people fainting in the room with Trump. A CEO fainted near Trump who seemingly didn't care at all. He was unconscious on the floor while Trump was sitting at his desk nearby. White House officials had the man's legs up in the air to try to bring blood back to the brain.

SNL did a humor skit of it where Trump without caring walks right over the body of the fainted man to move closer to reporters.

Trump's newly minted 'Board of Peace'.

Trump releases bizarre plans for ‘New Gaza’ with luxury flats and coastal tourism

    excerpt:

"Concerns have been raised by European nations over the unexpected invitation extended to Russian president Vladimir Putin, who has waged a brutal war in Ukraine since February 2022. There has also been anger among Arab states over the inclusion of Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, whose war in Gaza has led to the deaths of 72,000 Palestinians.

Senior officials from 19 countries were introduced as founding members of the collective that Mr Trump is set to oversee."

Trump was supposed to be helping those who are economically disadvantaged. Now he's talking about becoming king of the world. He has started a transnational country club with a $1 billion entrance fee symbolized by a tacky gold logo that's a cheap knock-off of the U.N. logo.

Yet many of his followers are sticking with him.

June 2026 will mark the 11-year mark that he's been in politics, and he still has his psychology job going on the people.

Trump Unveils World’s Tackiest Logo for His $1B Grift - NewsBreak

    excerpt:

The design sparked a wave of mockery and befuddlement among political observers who questioned the lackluster effort that had gone into it.

“Big Microsoft Paint energy,” political commentator Adam Schwarz quipped on X, noting that the wreath appeared to be clip art and the whole image was just the U.N. logo “except dipped in gold.”

Entrepreneur Arnaud Bertrand called it “beyond parody,” echoing others to note it “is basically the UN logo repainted in tacky fake gold and with ‘the world’ reduced to only North America.”

Trump sues JPMorgan Chase & Co.for $5 billion over debanking claims.

Trump Sues JPMorgan for $5 Billion Over Debanking Claims

    excerpt:

"Trump has singled out JPMorgan repeatedly in his push to stamp out what he sees as banks refusing to provide financial services to customers for ideological reasons. JPMorgan closed accounts for Trump and his businesses about seven weeks after the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the US Capitol by his supporters. Trump was out of office then and his political standing was low."

Trump’s Park Goons Tear Down Slavery Exhibits

    excerpt:

"National Park Service staff took down slavery exhibits at Philadelphia’s Independence Mall on Thursday following a Trump-ordered crackdown on “distorted” narratives about the nation’s history.

Crews have dismantled plaques at the President’s House detailing the history of nine people enslaved by President George Washington, which came under scrutiny by the Trump administration last summer, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer."
