I wish I was born in that era when Woodstock happened. I always see such cool pictures Online and it looked like an amazing time in history with Peace, love n Music I sometimes feel like I was born in the wrong time. True hippie at heart ✌Peace n love ☮️ to everyone
I am 60 years old. Was too young. But I have met a bunch of folks who went. All said it was wonderful. I asked about the mud and the problems and stuff. They looked at me like it was no big deal at all. Amazing time, amazing experience is all I heard.
I didn't make it to Woodstock, I was on the wrong side of the country. But I did go to Altamont, well, sort of. We were stoned and got lost so we went back to SF and saw the Grateful Dead at the Fillmore.
because of crappy weather and we heard that the thruway was already closed, we opted to pass. The next year, Not wanting to miss out on a good thing again, we went to Strawberry Field Concert, in Canada
Yup, the news reports said the concert was full, the road shutdown, and rain was forecast. Also they changed the venue at the last minute. So I figured it would suck to go. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.
I dont know to young(52), i wish i would have been there........i did grow up with parties/festivals( in different music choices/lifestyle), sometimes the feeling is still the same, even if it is just for a few hours/days Mzzls
