Whatever psychiatric condition is afflicting Trump is worsening.

His mindset and behavior during the next three years isn't expected to be any better.

Trump Demands Bonkers ‘Ceremony’ in Front of Global Elite

    excerpt:

"President Donald Trump wants to hijack the world’s foremost economic meeting with a special “ceremony” paying homage to his $1 billion peacekeeping grift.

Sources cited by Bloomberg on Monday described widespread confusion behind the scenes as Trump embarked on a last-minute push for a signing ceremony at the World Economic Forum in Davos to thrust his newly unveiled “Board of Peace” front and center."

Trump Demands Bonkers ‘Ceremony’ in Front of Global Elite

    excerpt:

"However, there’s no mention of Gaza in its charter, and as more details have emerged about the new body’s composition and its reported $1 billion buy-in fee, questions are mounting about what the real endgame is.

A flurry of world leaders received spammy invitations to join the “one of a kind” board over the weekend, including accused war criminal Vladimir Putin and Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko."

Calls to invoke 25th Amendment grow after Trump Norway letter

    excerpt:

Democratic U.S. Senator Brian Schatz of Hawaii wrote on X: "I don't see how you can be a serious person and not find this extremely worrisome. He is not stable at all and his reality is warped. He was always a bit like this of course but now he's 80."

Trump invites Putin to join the Gaza 'board of peace' as he continues his war on Ukraine.

Trump asks Putin to join Gaza ‘board of peace’ even as Ukraine war rages
The Kremlin says it is seeking to “clarify all the nuances” of the offer from Washington.

Trump could go so far as saying Putin should be awarded a Nobel Peace Prize.

Or Trump and Putin could be awarded together.

Bush Jr. and Tony Blair were nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 just before Bush invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, wars and occupations that lasted about 20 years.

Shoulder to shoulder, Blair and Bush nominated for peace prize

    excerpt:

One has ordered his forces into battle more times than any other postwar British leader. The other threatens military action against "evil" nations and keeps a scorecard of dead al-Qaida leaders, marking each fatality with an X.

Now, Tony Blair and George Bush have received international recognition for their unswerving willingness to use force: a nomination for the 2002 Nobel peace prize.

The prime minister and US president have been jointly nominated for the accolade by a rightwing Norwegian politician who believes their military campaign against terrorism meets Alfred Nobel's criteria that the winner "shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.

Harald Tom Nesvik, who represents the Party of Progress in the Norwegian parliament, said yesterday: "The background for my nomination is their decisive action against terrorism, something I believe in the future will be the greatest threat to peace. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to use force to secure peace."

Leave it to Trump to make such statements.

He's threatening war if he doesn't receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

    Trump's Puerto Rico ploy.

Trump’s Arctic Sweetener: US Prepares ‘Puerto Rico Option’ and Century-Long Lease for Greenland, Sources Say

    excerpt:

"Under that framework, Greenlanders would become US citizens with full bilateral access and trade privileges. They would be exempt from US income tax unless they moved to the mainland – a pitch aides believe could be sold as a prosperity package for the island’s roughly 56,000 residents.

“They’re trying to package this as a sweetener,” a Western diplomat familiar with the talks said.

Trump’s fixation on Greenland is not new. But in recent weeks, he has ramped up the pressure dramatically – threatening tariffs, hinting at military force, and explicitly linking trade punishment to Denmark’s willingness to sell."

Remember what Trump did to Puerto Rico after the horriific hurricane. He insulted its leader and engaged in an ongoing rhubarb against her.

Now Denmark and Greenland are supposed to think that Trump will try them 'kindly' like he did to Puerto Rico if they give away their land to him.

For 80 years, the president’s party has almost always lost House seats in midterm elections, a pattern that makes the 2026 congressional outlook clear

    excerpt:

"Since 1946, there have been 20 midterm elections. In 18 of them, the president’s party lost seats in the House of Representatives. That’s 90% of the midterm elections in the past 80 years.

Measured against that pattern, the odds that the Republicans will hold their slim House majority in 2026 are small. Another factor makes them smaller. When the sitting president is “underwater” – below 50% – in job approval polls, the likelihood of a bad midterm election result becomes a certainty. All the presidents since Harry S. Truman whose job approval was below 50% in the month before a midterm election lost seats in the House. All of them."
