I liked most of what she said on Bill Maher. She seemed to be honestly learning how fucked up the system is that her own party is abusing. She's still a big Trump fan for now.
Im going to watch it. MTG is focused on the post Trump political landscape, and sees the writing on the wall. She’s an opportunist, through and through. Trump is not as healthy as they are proclaiming- he was on the decline well before he even got back in office. She’s positioning/posturing herself for a future office position. She took part in facilitating the Jan 6 riots. She proclaimed to be a vaccine denier, but refused to tell if she got the Covid shot - and invested stock in every company that produced the vaccine. Simply put, I don’t trust her.
Pretty much agree as the vast majority of politicians are, so her intentions are not sincere, but maybe we can manipulate her for good.
I like the way the shutdown and loss of subsidies is affecting her family. If she's feeling it as are most of her constituents, then so is the rest of the country, esp. Trump supporters. Maybe they'll have more respect for the government as they lose their government benefits one after another, and realize it's their own party causing the suffering.
Of course Fox "News" will bullshit them into believing it's the Democrats' fault. You know they will.
You know what’s so crazy? She’s become a millionaire since she’s been in office, she can actually take care of her family
History indicates the problem is, people keep expecting them to act reasonably, while continuing to allow complete idiots to censor half of reality.
Yeah, but they also know who to blame for the tariffs. Hint: not the Dems. Plus why isn't their all powerful, fearless leader fixing everything like he promised? Of course he meant fixing things for himself, his family and donors. He has no real friends. His last friend was named Jeffrey. And getting back to MTG, she is demanding the release of the Epstein files, unlike other Republicans.

The insurance program affords membership of up to 400% of the poverty threshold. Plenty of the recipients can afford their own, or could continue working into their 60's
People act like this Obama-care plan is like some golden health parachute. No, it really sucks for what it costs. No doctors take it, the deductible is huge....but otherwise you face bankruptcy for a big problem - and that is what it really was, a catastrophic plan. Our company went belly up a few years ago, so my income for a while was unemployment only, which here sucks....since my income was low, I qualified for pretty cheap Obama-care. There was like one clinic, across the county, that was accepting it, like a medicaid cash mill place...and the deductible was like 10k or so.. But it was for big problems...essentially it covered nothing for me. So in a few months, I ended up finding a job that had a mediocre health plan, so jumped on that. When it came to be tax time, since I was making decent money again, they whacked me $800/mo for the plan for the months I was on it....and it was a terrible plan.
Too bad we couldn't have gotten a few more democrats off their asses to go vote....there's no way she should have won that election on her previous merits in congress.
MTG does one thing well, reading the writing on the wall, tea leaves, or whatever. She does reflect the confusion of your average American as to what's going on in her family, district and country. She's also learning politics on the job. Her fealty to Trump will be her downfall (like all sycophants) unless she turns on him soon.
