Whatever your style of music, post up videos of songs with your favorite guitar riffs. I just listened to this...Peter Frampton - Do you feel like we do?
Framptons such an excellent guitarist. Tough to pick one, but if I had to choose Hand of Fate by the Stones!
I like the guitar lessons thing. Spent an hour last night on guitar. However Smoke on the Water? Really? The first thing everyone figured out on their first guitar?
This is a 'little bit more' than a riff, a little more than a minute long beginning at 3:30.... but this whole freaking movement is the most awesome electric guitar that I have ever heard!! Cred to my sweetie for bringing this album to me years ago and there at times that this music can almost bring me to tears. Pink Floyd., from Dark Side Of the Moon, 1972? from 3:30 to about 4:45....
The Allman Brothers playing Whipping Post live at the Filmore East 1970! What a great performance especially well recorded.
If you're gonna go with the Stones, it's gotta be this one! The Devil you say? Btw, everyone in that video was tripping on acid, especially Mick and John Lennon...
1972, yep. David Gilmour's magic fingers! Bass riffs in particular leading the bridge bits on this track, as classic as it gets.
Sticking with bass (coz I'm a bass man). This ELO classic always gets me all stirred up, and it's all about that bass. The whole damm thing. Well I guess it's as much the rhythm as the bass...?
