Like I said, I've had two cats for some time, sisters. And they usually get along fine. But the gray tiger cat sometimes attacks her sister for no reason.

And she was doing it the other day. I wasn't sure what to do. You know you can yell and raise your voice (but they're cats, so they may just ignore you). But like I already said here, don't ever swat them or even shake your finger. It can psychologically damage them and give them mental problems. I'm serious.

You can try and figure out what's up with them before doing anything. If you must, try separating them for a day if you can.

As Jackson Galaxy says, "play with your cats, play with your cats, play with your cats."

Also, my white cat is losing weight. I think that might be diabetes, right? I don't know how to help her. She seems all right otherwise. But it's hard for me to get out. I'm having mobility and other issues brought on by years of Olanzapine damage, kept secret from me by my legal guardian Eric, Wayne County Probate Court and the Detroit police. And now Eric is about to cut me loose for good when all he ever had to do was write me the occasional check like he's been doing for 15 years, and like he can easily afford living in one of the Grosse Pointes. But my case manager says the law will support him, even though I'll become homeless in a couple of months without his money.

So I don't know what to do.

BTW don't ever feel sorry for my cats. They've been inside cats all their life. They're warm in the winter, cool in the summer, dry when it's raining. And they spend all of the day eating and sleeping.

Cats should not be fat. They should not be fed a diet of human food. If the gray cat is harassing the other cat, make sure each has a food dish and a separate litter box.

When the grey cat attacks put it in a separate room for awhile.

I just got home from the vet. My cat has jaundice. The vet said a special diet should help. That and water, especially sugar water, from a syringe.

I already gave my kitty a couple of syringes full of water. She doesn't seem to mind. I think I'll do it a couple of times a day.

Like I said I'm giving my little sick kitty Snowball syringes of water every day. The doctor said to also give her syringes of sugar water for her liver. I gave her honey water yesterday. But the vet's office told me today not to do that. I haven't had white sugar in the house since I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. So I got some cane sugar tonight. She still looks a little under the weather. But she seems to be eating and drinking on her own now.

I wanted to give an update on my little kitty. I was having a hard time giving her food. The vet says she needs food for her liver. But she wouldn't eat it. But I asked him today if I could mix the food with warm water and put it in a syringe and squirt it in her mouth. He said that was all right. And when I did that today she did eat for a while. The vet says it doesn't look too good for her though. She was always overweight and she's very old now. She was a rescue cat along with her sister. Her sister is thinner and in good health. So I guess if anything happens to her it will just be me and and my other cat, Twinkle. So at least I'll have one pet in the house.

Tragedy after tragedy yesterday. Because, my cat is getting weaker. Her voice sounds more weak and she's starting to have minor accidents on herself because I guess she's too weak to go to the litter box. I'll just keep her comfortable. Give her a little food and a little water each day. And when she leaves I'll have her ashes kept in the same place many of my other animals are. It's too far for me to go and visit because it's way up north. But I do feel better knowing they're all in one spot.

I am still at the veterinarian hospital and it's almost midnight. They are going to have to euthanize Snowball. There wasn't enough money in my account to cover the costs of what she needed and if I waited till morning for my financial firm to okay it they'd probably say no. And the nurse said we couldn't wait that long anyways. Snowball was a beautiful kitty. She brought so much joy into my life. And I hope I made her happy too. Within the past couple of days I've lost so much.

Oh man, so sorry to hear that. It seems like she was really a big part of your life. It's good you have another cat to keep you company

I’m so so for your loss. I’m sure you gave Snowball a wonderful, warm , safe life full of love. A far better life than most cats ever get. You’re a kind and loving human. I sure Snowball would say thank you.

Just like Dogs, I personally believe Cats should have some out door time to mingle and get some fresh air. You can take it out in the park, let one of your nieces or nephews hold it while your having a bbq or bashing mexican pinatas or something, always let that cat have a new sense of perspective about life lol
