Meanwhile, those in the top 1%, with an income of more than $915,000 a year, would see their taxes rise 1.7% relative to their income, on average, ITEP found.

Trump's RCP favorable rating is down to 44%, about where it has been since he started office in 2017.

He had a few weeks of near zero margin during the post-2024 election euphoria when people mistakenly thought he was going to make their lives better.

His current margin is -7.3% (favorable minus unfavorable).

Trump's lowest point in RCP favorable rating was after the 2022 midterm elections when the GOP had dismal showings in Congressional and state elections, even lower than just after his riot at the Capitol.

Trump showed a steady increase from that low point until about February 2025 before descending toward his usual 42% favorable.

 

Trump's near 80 and still burning the candle at both ends, up most of the night ranting on social media like that expected from a teenager.

It does call into question how much longer he can maintain that pace before a mishap occurs.
