Just read a comment on an Instagram site that seemed to imply that orgasms induced by oral sex ISN'T really "sex" because one can get/give a blowjob and still be a virgin (if one has that status).
This is essentially Bill Clinton's statement: "I did not have sex with that woman!"

If that is truly the case (and I assert that is not correct), then partners in marriage could run around sucking/getting sucked/eaten out without a single moment of doubt or guilt.

What do married people (straight or not) on this site have to say about this??

Of course it's sex. I think it's as or more intimate than intercourse. There's no such thing as 'just a blowjob..' I had a co-worker that played the game "it's not cheating if it's more than 500 miles from home". Guess what - that's not what she thought ... Oh, they divorced.

I truly believe you are 100% correct. I'm astonished by those who maintain otherwise!

Well yes it is sex. if you are in a relationship and your partner hasnt given consent that is cheating . Some think that if your wife doesn't know about it, its not cheating, Until Cold play lets everyone know. :tearsofjoy:

For as long as I've been eating pussy and sucking cock, it's been known as oral sex, which makes sense given that both are sexual acts. I have never understood why there are still people in 2025 who don't believe that it's sex.

Those that say it’s not sex are just trying to convince themselves there is a loophole.

My wife can have an orgasm from oral, but not near as intense as from penetration.

Back in the late 70's and early 80's, there was this thing among more relgious youth that would have anal sex to maintain their virginity. Rationalization at it's best.

It's not sex if there's no penetration.
As to whether the partner feels betrayed; that's a different subject.
To conflate the two limits the possibility of actually finding a valid answer or reaching understanding.

BTW partners in marriage do get licked and sucked 'outside' of their relationship.

It's called oral sex. Penetration occurs, but with the mouth instead of the vagina. With some there is mouth, or throat, fucking. Anal penetration is called anal sex. Virginity isn't considered broken during anal sex. Still called sex.

Of course, oral sex is sex and if done with anyone other than your spouse it's sexually cheating on them. Sexual neglect (from their partner) will lead both men and women to rationalize it as not sex, but it really is. I fell into this in my first marriage; her sexual neglect led me to accept blow jobs from other guys and thinking it was just a blow job. But would I be OK if she was out giving other guys blow jobs? No, I wouldn't. No matter how you spin it oral sex is "sex" because you'll most likely have an orgasm.

Still is sex. Sex has many forms
Just the difference between genders even though a man will receive pleasure even if the woman only gives him
