Trump finds other people who he thinks committed crimes or improprieties and, instead of raising himself above such accused behavior, he uses it to set a low bar of ethics for himself for which he steps even lower.

 

One of the latest examples concerns pardons Biden issued recently.

Trump and his following will now use it as an excuse for him to step even lower than the wrongs he is claiming others have done, whether real or perceived.
