    https://www.cnn.com/2024/09/06/politics/trump-battleground-spending/index.html

    excerpt:

“I’m telling you, if we have an honest election, we’re going to blow it out in Minnesota,” the former president said.

But since that bold declaration, Trump hasn’t returned to the Gopher State. His running mate JD Vance, on stage with him that evening, hasn’t either. Nor have Minnesotans seen Trump campaign ads on their televisions recently, and they likely won’t this fall.

It can be argued that JD Vance shouldn't make appearances in any of the battleground states. He's doing more damage to Trump than help.

It’s simple- Fuentes obviously knew it was a lie from the beginning. They ALL know it’s a damn lie. Fuentes is pissed off because Trump has “gone off script” because now that is out there, it can and will be exploited.

Trump wiggled out of another jam. Judge Merchan has delayed sentencing until November 2024.

It had already been delayed until September 2024.

Donald Trump criminal sentencing delayed until after election

It sounds similar to two Soviet-born associates of Trump from a few years ago, Parnas and Fruman. Both were raising money for Trump's campaign without proper authorization. Both were convicted and served prison time of over a year. They were seen in photos standing right next to Trump at the White House along with Pence and Giuliani. Yet Trump said he didn't know anything about them.

That won't be enough for Trump. If he loses the election, he will say that the sentencing post-election is marring his ability to overturn the 2024 election that he thinks was stolen from him and that sentencing should be delayed until after January 21, 2025 when the next president starts office.

Trump pledges to cut energy costs in half within 12 months if he is reelected.

Trump vows to halve energy costs in 12 months. Few see that happening.

    excerpt:

“I will declare a national emergency to allow us to dramatically increase energy production, generation and supply,” Trump said Thursday. “Starting on Day 1, I will approve new drilling, new pipelines, new refiners, new power plants, new reactors, and we will slash the red tape.”
