8 times Trump slammed 'chain migration' before it apparently helped wife's parents become citizens excerpt: "President Donald Trump has often slammed the so-called "chain migration" process by which Americans help foreign-born relatives gain citizenship. Now it appears his wife Melania Trump helped her parents gain U.S. citizenship through this very process. Sources tell ABC News that the first lady sponsored her parents' green card application, a step in the process toward their becoming citizens." "2. During an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, Oct. 11, 2017 "Chain migration is one of the disasters. You allow one person and in that one person brings in 10 or 12 people," Trump said to Hannity."

Melania's father who is now a U.S. citizen reportedly has a questionable background in Slovenia. Article from August 2018. Melania’s Dad, a New American Citizen With a Record in Yugoslavia’s Secret Police Files excerpt: "At a time when some people are being denied permanent residence and citizenship in the United States because of their records in other countries, the case of Viktor Knavs is especially interesting. David Leopold, an immigration attorney who formerly headed the American Immigration Lawyers Association, told The Daily Beast that a tax fraud conviction—if one exists against Knavs—could have kept Knavs from getting a green card, and could now potentially be grounds for revoking his citizenship. In Slovenia, Knavs’ lawyers have said that despite the secret police record he was never convicted, charged, or even investigated for tax evasion, but they reportedly acknowledge he was investigated for smuggling."

To the Chagrin of Trump and 40 GOP members of Congress who petitioned against it, the army will be removing a Confederate monument this week at Arlington. Gov. Youngkin of VA doesn't agree with it either. Confederate memorial to be removed in coming days from Arlington National Cemetery
Trump once again compares himself to Al Capone. He seemingly thinks he's tougher than Capiton (which he thinks is good) because he's been indicted four times but Capone (supposedly, according to Trump) was only indicted once (which isn't factual). Trump likens himself to the ‘great’ Al Capone at Reno rally: Live
Time for Trump to take his Sharpie marker and cross out the real number of times Capone was indicted and replace it with the number '1'.
Trump complains booming stock market under Biden (which Trump predicted would crash under Biden) just makes rich people richer. https://www.usnews.com/news/top-new...tock-market-as-just-making-rich-people-richer excerpt: "In an attempt to give a populist and anti-Biden twist on the new record stock market high, Trump, a self-described billionaire, told a crowd of supporters in Reno, Nevada: "The stock market is making rich people richer." Turning on Biden, he changed the subject to high prices, a hallmark of Biden's three years in office."
While in NV, Trump defended six NV Republicans who were recently indicted for being fake electors. They were part of Trump's plot to overthrow the 2020 election. Trump’s Craziest Legal Argument May Be Headed to the Supreme Court excerpt: "Right now, arguments for the current term are scheduled through April, and a rough rule of thumb holds that the Court tries to rule on all of its outstanding cases in the term by the end of June or early July. If Smith’s team ultimately prevails at the Supreme Court but the current March trial date cannot hold, that would at a minimum still leave July and even August for a trial before Chutkan. That would in turn leave at least September and October clear for the candidates to campaign, perhaps in parallel to post-trial sentencing proceedings if Trump is convicted. (You should assume that Trump will remain free, out on bail, while all of this unfolds.)"
Freeman and Moss are suing Giuliani again. Giuliani has continued to make defamatory remarks about them, almost in court when the judge's decision was made but stopped by his attorney. He made more remarks about Freeman and Moss just outside the courthouse. Rudy Giuliani sued again by former election workers who now want a court order against further defamatory remarks
Trump can't keep his mouth closed either. Carroll is suing him again for more defamatory remarks he made about her during and after the trial he lost against her. The next Carroll case is scheduled for January 2024.
Trump is also making the far-fetched claim that he is immune from criminal prosecution because the U.S. Senate acquitted him in January 2021 for trying to overthrow the 2020 election. Trump’s Craziest Legal Argument May Be Headed to the Supreme Court excerpt: "A quick recap: Trump is slated to go on trial in Washington early next year, and this month, the district judge overseeing the case, Tanya Chutkan, denied two of his motions to dismiss the case: One arguing that Trump is “absolutely immune” from criminal prosecution because he was the president at the time of the relevant conduct, and the second claiming that the prosecution violates “double jeopardy” principles because Republicans in the Senate rallied to acquit Trump after he was impeached by the House following the siege of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021."
