Whichever side loses in the CO case will almost certainly appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court which has never ruled on the issue of the 14th Amendment's clause about disqualifying someone from running for office due to inciting an insurrection or giving comfort to insurrectionists.

Meadows managed to wiggle his way out of trouble by securing an immunity deal with the DOJ in the election subversion case.

He still has criminal charges in GA. It's possible he could be offered a deal in that case also. Four of Trump's supporters in the GA case have pleaded guilty (Hall, Chesebro, Powell, and Ellis).

    Tears of a clown.

Ex-Trump Lawyer Jenna Ellis Delivered White Women Tears While Pleading Guilty In Georgia Election Case

    excerpt:

"Ellis said that “If I knew then what I know now, I would have declined to represent Donald Trump in these post-election challenges. I look back on this full experience with deep remorse.”

The only thing that Ellis is sorry about is being held accountable for her actions. As punishment, she will serve five years of probation, owe $5,000 of restitution to the Georgia secretary of state within 30 days and testify at trials or hearings in the case."

He’ll be more interested in preaching and totally not focused on his duties as Speaker of the House. He’s going to use biblical scripture, twisted and misquoted, to justify his actions or lack of actions- and it will be a sad sight to see.

We he certainly wasn't put there for any useful legislative tasks to benefit the common man. I see he's taken down their anti-gay website...

Trump wants to impose unfair early decisions if they benefit him. He's been using this tactic in various court cases against him to try to have them prematurely dismissed or decided early in his favor.

If they don't benefit him, then he wants to drag out a process.

He used the same approach when early votes counts showed him beating Biden in the 2020 election. He declared himself the winner during the evening of election day.

On 2020 election night when votes had yet to be fully counted, his supporters in one state where he was trailing Biden were yelling 'Count the votes!' while in another state where he was winning were yelling 'Stop the count!'
