It was just Russian strudel (with something inside of it unbeknownst to the courier) that he was told to give to another person, like in a James Bond movie.

When approached about it by a journalist, he was on his cell phone (whose screen was seen to be blank) pretending to be on an important call so that he could try to avoid the journalist.

 

People like Ron Johnson are the ones who want to mislead, manipulate, and control people, and by criminal means if they think it's necessary.
