He was political when he tried to fire acting AG Rosen and replace him with truther enthusiast Jeffrey Clark.

He was political when he fired his election security official, Krebs, when he didn't support his election lies.

Trump was political when he fired McCabe on the weekend of his birthday and just before his retirement to take away his retirement benefits (McCabe recovered his benefits after a lengthy litigation),

He was political when he sat for hours and did nothing of significance to protect members of Congress and his VP during the riot at the Capitol that he helped incite.

Trump was political when he pressured Zelensky, Raffensperger, and Ducey to obtain what he wanted for himself.

He was political when he canceled the Air Force flight for a bipartisan Congressional delegation to visit U.S. troops in Afghanistan to retaliate against Pelosi who had delayed Trump's State of the Union address due to the government shutdown he created which caused hundreds of injuries and ultimately eleven deaths.

Trump was political when he belittled Covid when he knew it was deadly to try to boost his reelection campaign, a behavior which may have caused hundreds of thousands of American deaths.
