    That's the essence of the entire problem. The voters of Trump want only one thing: for Trump to be the president again. It makes no difference what political & social factors will result if they succeed; they're apparently not even considering those (it's called willful ignorance). It doesn't matter about the problems BOTH political parties (as well as all Americans) will face if these folks manage to get Trump "installed" again. It makes no difference what our country would be like under an authoritarian government.

    The only thing on their minds is seeing Trump back in office.

    It's scarier than might first be apparent.

    Trump and his attorneys used their judge shopping approach to stymie a federal criminal investigation for a couple months based on the premise that it would hurt his reputation as a former president.

    He has a selective, pro-law enforcement stance. He will go through great lengths to thwart the efforts of law enforcement when he's the subject of investigations.
