    It appears that the special master is going to be the person who decides issues of Trump's claims of personal property, declassification, and executive privilege.

    It seems like it would have made more sense for those issues to have been resolved first and later have a special master filter through all of the documents in question based on that resolution.

    Judge Cannon could have ruled on those issues first and then had the special master filter through the documents. She was very vague on these issues and gave high benefit of doubt to Trump who was very vague on his assertions of personal property, declassification, and executive privilege..

    She was also highly vague on what the DOJ can do in the meantime with the criminal investigation, placing the DOJ at risk of contempt if it does something that Cannon or another judge could later deem to be contempt.

    Trump and Cannon have really snookered the DOJ on this one, at least in the short run.

    Trump's attorney Christina Bobb will probably be subpoenaed by the DOJ or Congress eventually.

    Similar to Cohen, she will be faced with being the fall guy for Trump or providing testimony about who (if anyone) told her there weren't any more documents at Mar-a-Lago.

    Cohen was eventually convicted of lying to Congress on behalf of Trump.
