    As for me, I am so glad I don't live in Texas, and have never been there... Sorry to hear of the weather woes...not every one in that state is evil. Some do not deserve the wrath of Mother Nature.

    At 1249 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking areas of slow-moving heavy rain over Abington, moving northwest at 10 mph. Rain rates have been between 1.5 to 2 inches in the last hour from these heavy showers. Minor nuisance flooding. ...Radar indicated.

    Locations impacted include... Boston, Cambridge, Brockton, Quincy, Newton, Somerville, Waltham, Brookline, Medford, Weymouth, Revere, Everett, Braintree, Chelsea, Randolph, Watertown, Needham, Wellesley, Milton and Stoughton.

    A wild and tiring night and early morning !!!

    It was very warm and humid when I retired last evening. Sometime in the night a couple of thunderstorms tracked up the channel as I could hear the thunder rumbling out in the channel. Then, sometime in the early morning (it was still dark) one of these thunder storms came ashore right above me. The Lightning was vivid and almost continuous, and the thunder clapped and rumbled for over an hour or so. So now, here I sit, tired and bleary eyed, trying to sip my coffee and Brandy and stay awake !!!
