This is SO important for the future of our democracy because if Republicans are allowed to ignore Congressional subpoenas whenever they choose to, what will things be like when the GOP eventually regains control of Congress? They'll start going after Democrats that have displeased Trump (whether he's president again or not) and how will the GOP criticize Democrats that ignore subpoenas if they have been doing it themselves?

They can't have it both ways.........or so we hope.

The GOP will immediately arrest any Democrat that ignores a subpoena if they gain control again. Because in their view, Democrats MUST abide by the "rule of law" or else..... while Republicans can continue to not abide by the same rules.

That's just the way they see things... and their base is fine with that.
