Good question, or was trump going to blackmail the government into letting remain president?

Barron.... I'm guessing it was Kushner, the weasel, if someone put the thumb on him he would pee his pants.

Up until the very last moment If the Rosenberg’s had admitted to being spies, there would have been a stay of execution and they would have received life in prison.

They were eventually found innocent but that was years later.

Had they simply pleaded guilty and served 20 plus years, they would have both been in their mid-fifties when they were eventually cleared and released.

Or pass the information on to his buddy Vladimir Putin?

The petition to release the warrant and inventory of seized material was signed by Jay Bratt; head of DHS's counterintelligence section.
    It's officially an espionage investigation.

Sounds like you have more legal schooling than me and you also sound like you understand national security issues well. All these facets concerning the nukes are real. My guess is he took stuff Putin would want and then send them to Putin by way of a private server like the one in Trump Tower which was not investigated. Remember, Mueller was restricted by a republican Senate from doing a national security investigation. So, Trump got away with it the last time too. Now he needs to get back in saddle and have presidential protection, and also have McConnell or similar protecting him again. If the Democrats win it all, he'll be convicted individual Trump.

Trump probably wanted to trade our nuclear secrets to the Saudis for that really cool glowing orb they have... Would look great in the Mar-a-Lago entryway....

Trump's inner circle knows exactly what's about to go down

Trump World urges Republicans to cool fiery rhetoric because more bad news is coming

On Thursday, "some senior Republicans have been warned by allies of Mr. Trump not to continue to be aggressive in criticizing the Justice Department and the F.B.I. over the matter because it is possible that more damaging information about Mr. Trump related to the search will eventually become public.

Trump supporters, right-wing pundits, and lawmakers have been whipped into a frenzy over what Trump called a "raid" by federal agents in pursuit of classified documents removed from the White House during Trump's departure from office.

If Trump doesn't formally object to the disclosure of the search warrant on Friday, it could still take days for it to be released. The motion to release it needs to be reviewed by a judge and involves the parties Trump and the DOJ.

The easiest path would have been for Trump to publicly release his copy of the warrant, but he has chosen to not do it.

Trump would sell out to the Saudis in exchange for them to fund an alternative golf league to host a tournament at Bedminster as a way of retaliating against the PGA for pulling its 2022 tournament from his place because of his insurrection at the Capitol.

US Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart gave the DOJ until August 15 to object to releasing the warrant. Garland already gave the go-ahead to release it.

Trump said he doesn't object to releasing it, although his attorneys haven't yet made a formal statement.

If there are no objections, it's up to Reinhart to do whatever is necessary to release it, if he decides to release it. It's not clear how long that would take.
