Am I reading this article right? Are all those candidates listed endorsed by Trump? That would mean 21 out of 27 won! Then why are they saying his won-lost record took a hit?
I know it's just the primary but I'm confused! Did Trump's endorsed candidates do well over all or not?
'Trump picked this fight': Why heavyweight Republicans no longer fear Trump excerpt: "They’re weary of the incessant conflicts. The inability to get past the 2020 election results. An endorsement strategy seemingly driven by a bruised and restless ego, rather than the party’s best interests. Channeling growing fatigue among rank-and-file Republicans, some of the GOP’s best-known heavyweights are increasingly defying former President Donald Trump in the wake of internecine conflicts from Georgia to Pennsylvania. Bold-face Republican names have never been so comfortable crossing Trump as in recent weeks. Former President George W. Bush, former Vice President Mike Pence, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie were among those lending aid and comfort to one of Trump’s top enemies, Gov. Brian Kemp, in Georgia’s Tuesday primary."
Bisignano supposedly didn't mean it either. She was at the front of the crowd with a bullhorn inciting and directing the rioters. In her mind, she felt that her vote didn't count and wanted her voice to be heard.
Trump loses appeal. Trump loses appeal, must testify in New York civil probe excerpt: "NEW YORK (AP) — Former President Donald Trump must answer questions under oath in the New York attorney general’s civil investigation into his business practices, a state appeals court ruled Thursday, rejecting his argument that he be excused from testifying because his answers could be used in a parallel criminal probe. A four-judge panel in the appellate division of the state’s trial court upheld Judge Arthur Engoron’s Feb. 17 ruling, which enforced subpoenas requiring that Trump and his two eldest children — Ivanka and Donald Jr. — give deposition testimony in Attorney General Letitia James’ probe. “The existence of a criminal investigation does not preclude civil discovery of related facts, at which a party may exercise the privilege against self-incrimination,” the appellate panel wrote, citing the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and other legal protections for witnesses. Lawyers for the Trumps agreed in March that they would sit for depositions within 14 days of an appellate panel decision upholding Engoron’s ruling. They could also appeal the decision to the state’s highest court, the Court of Appeals, delaying the matter and the Trumps’ potential testimony indefinitely."
It's believable that Trump would have not only agreed with it but would have also been chanting "Hang Mike Pence!" along with the mob of rioters as he sat in the White House private dining room and watched the riot on TV. Trump expressed support for hanging Pence during Capitol riot, Jan. 6 panel told
Budowich is frustrated about the information being released about Trump. It would help if Meadows would testify in front of the Jan.6 committee and release the rest of the records. It could set the record straight and Budowich might not be as upset. Trump expressed support for hanging Pence during Capitol riot, Jan. 6 panel told excerpt: "Two of the people who spoke for this story said the committee has heard testimony on this topic from more than one person. All three people spoke on condition of anonymity. Reached for comment, Trump spokesperson Taylor Budowich blasted the committee. “This partisan committee’s vague ‘leaks,’ anonymous testimony, and willingness to alter evidence proves it’s just an extension of the Democrat smear campaign that has been exposed time and time again for being fabricated and dishonest,” he said. “Americans are tired of the Democrat lies and the charades, but, sadly, it’s the only thing they have to offer."”
Let's see, this could take yet another year. I'd say, no , you can't do no damn zoom testimony, get your asses here in front of me.....
Another release of information that will frustrate Budowich. Mark Meadows reportedly used a White House fireplace to burn docs
Ohio supreme court rejects redistricting map for fifth time. Court tosses out Ohio legislative maps for fifth time as primaries loom excerpt: "The Ohio Redistricting Commission has been ordered back to the drawing board once again after the Ohio Supreme Court nixed the fifth set of state legislature maps on Wednesday. The court, which determined the maps were nearly identical to the prior ones that had been stricken and amounted to unconstitutional gerrymandering, ordered new maps to be drawn by June 3, as Ohioans wait for a federal panel to intervene in the line-drawing legal scrum. OHIO SUPREME COURT THROWS OUT FOURTH SET OF STATE MAPS "This court has been placed in a remarkable position," Chief Justice Maureen O'Connor wrote in the opinion. "Ohio Redistricting Commission has, contrary to this court's clear order, resubmitted an unconstitutional General Assembly–district plan and, in doing so, has engaged in a stunning rebuke of the rule of law.""
