Potential breaches of voting machines in Michigan.

Michigan State Police Seizes Voting Machine, Expands Investigation Into Potential Breaches Tied To 2020 Election

    excerpt:

"Michigan State Police first opened its investigation into potential voting machine breaches in February after the Secretary of State’s Office notified it that an unnamed third party was allowed to access vote tabulator components and technology in Roscommon County.

Michigan State Police Lt. Derrick Carroll told CNN on Wednesday that the department’s investigation has expanded to more counties where they were notified of breaches of election systems, but would not confirm the seizure in Irving Township specifically. It’s unclear if the investigation includes localities beyond Roscommon County and Irving Township but a source familiar with the investigation told CNN that state police are aware of a third potential breach."

Michigan State Police Seizes Voting Machine, Expands Investigation Into Potential Breaches Tied To 2020 Election

    excerpt:

"The probe in Michigan reflects a growing number of incidents around the country where unauthorized people attempted to gain access to voting systems that were key targets in the Donald Trump campaign’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election outcome.

They succeeded in at least one instance in late November 2020, when a team of pro-Trump operatives traveled to Antrim County, Michigan, and conducted an audit of voting systems there, according to court documents released as part of a failed lawsuit filed by attorneys working on behalf of the former President at the time.

That access led to a now-debunked report issued by a team of analysts from a Texas-based company, Allied Security Operations Group, alleging irregularities in Dominion Voting Systems that was consistently cited as evidence in multiple failed legal challenges in Michigan and other swing states."

Donald Trump Jr. interviews with Jan. 6 select panel

    excerpt:

"Donald Trump Jr., the son of the former president, interviewed with the Jan. 6 committee on Tuesday, according to two people familiar with the matter.

He’s the latest member of the Trump family to provide testimony to the select committee probing the Capitol attack, following the panel's interview last month with Ivanka Trump. Trump's son-in-law and former adviser Jared Kushner, as well as Trump Jr.’s fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle, have also talked to investigators. A spokesperson for the former president’s son did not respond to a request for comment."

Iowan pleads guilty to involvement in Capitol riot.

Young was one of the rioters who grabbed Officer Fanone.

Iowan Kyle Young pleads guilty to Capitol riot assault on D.C. officer

    excerpt:

"An Iowa man faces up to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to assaulting a police officer during the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Kyle Young had faced more than a dozen federal charges in connection with the Capitol riot, many in connection with an assault on D.C. Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone. On Thursday, Young agreed to plead guilty to a single charge of assaulting, resisting or impeding an officer.

A resident of the western Dallas County town of Redfield, Young was one of the first Iowans to be charged for taking part in the Capitol riot. That number grew to eight this week with the arrest of Chad Heathcote of Adel, who was charged with disorderly conduct and entering a restricted building."

Tennessee man arrested for assaulting police officer at Capitol riot.

Tennessee Man Arrested for Assaulting Law Enforcement Officer During Jan. 6 Capitol Breach

    excerpt:

"WASHINGTON — A Tennessee man was arrested today for assaulting a law enforcement officer and breaking a window and damaging a door during the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. His and others’ actions disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the presidential election.

Edward Kelley, 33, of Maryville, Tennessee, is charged in a criminal complaint filed in the District of Columbia with assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers, civil disorder, destruction of government property, and related offenses. He was arrested in Knoxville and is to make his initial appearance today in the Eastern District of Tennessee.

According to court documents, on Jan. 6, Kelley was among a crowd of rioters illegally gathered at the Capitol Building. He was wearing a gas mask and green tactical helmet and had a backpack secured across his chest. Kelley moved to the scaffolding over the stairs of the West Front of the Capitol Building, where he and two other men got into an altercation with a Capitol Police officer. Kelley also pushed and pulled on a metal barricade as he made his way to the outside of the Senate Wing Door. He then used a piece of wood to breach the window adjacent to the Senate Wing Door. He was the fourth rioter to enter the building through the window. After entering through the breached window, Kelley moved to the still closed Senate Wing Door and kicked it open, which allowed other rioters to enter. As he moved through the building, Kelley changed from the gas mask into a red, white, and blue medical mask, eventually entering the Rotunda. Kelley left the building approximately 40 minutes after he first broke in."

Eighth Iowan charged for involvement in Capitol riot.

Chad Heathcote, of Adel, was charged with two offenses in Capitol riot

    excerpt:

"An eighth Iowan was arrested this week for allegedly participating in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C.

Chad Heathcote, 41, of Adel was charged Tuesday in D.C. District Court with two offenses: entering and remaining in a restricted building with intent to impede or disrupt an official proceeding and disorderly or disruptive conduct.

According to USA Today, more than 750 people in 48 states have been charged with participating in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol that left five people dead.

The FBI received tips on Jan. 20, 2021, and Feb. 10, 2021, that Heathcote was at the riot. He allegedly bragged on Facebook about being at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, before deleting his account the next day, according to charging documents."

Indiana GOP man wins election while in jail awaiting trial for murder of his cancer-stricken wife.

Indiana Man Wins Republican Primary for Town Board While Awaiting Trial on Accusations That He Murdered His Cancer-Stricken Wife When She Found Out He Was Cheating on Her

    excerpt:

"An Indiana man who is currently sitting in jail awaiting trial in the alleged murder of his cancer-stricken wife has won a Republican primary to potentially hold an elected to public office — a move that adds another bizarre wrinkle to a case that has already been marred with ethical conundrums due to the defendant’s mother’s connections to local politics."

QAnon Shaman wants to have his conviction dismissed.

'QAnon Shaman' drops direct appeal in Capitol riot case | wusa9.com

    excerpt:

"WASHINGTON — Jacob Chansley – the Arizona man known as the “QAnon Shaman” who became one of the most recognizable faces of the Capitol riot – has dropped his effort for a direct appeal and instead will attempt to get his plea deal thrown out, his lawyers confirmed this week.

Chansley pleaded guilty in September to one felony count of obstruction of an official proceeding. In November, U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth sentenced him to 41 months in prison, saying Chansley had made himself “the center of the riot.” At the time, it was the longest sentence received by a defendant in any Capitol riot case."

Giuliani changes his mind about talking to Jan. 6 committee.

    https://www.usnews.com/news/top-new...uses-to-testify-before-u-s-capitol-riot-panel

    excerpt:

"(Reuters) - Ex-New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is refusing to appear before the U.S. House of Representatives committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack unless he is allowed to record the proceedings, a spokesman for the panel said on Thursday.

Giuliani, who served as former U.S. President Donald Trump's attorney, had previously agreed to a "transcribed interview" with the committee before making the demand, spokesman Tim Mulvey said.

"Mr. Giuliani is an important witness to the conspiracy to overthrow the government and he remains under subpoena," Mulvey said. "If he refuses to comply the committee will consider all enforcement options.""

In interview, Sen. Johnson says it ‘may be true’ that COVID vaccines cause AIDS - Wisconsin Examiner

    excerpt:

"In a video interview published on the right-wing social media platform Rumble, Sen. Ron Johnson said it “may be true” that vaccines against COVID-19 cause AIDS.

Johnson was being interviewed by anti-vaccine lawyer Todd Callender, who alleged that the shots induce AIDS and that the FDA knew so when the vaccines were approved for emergency use.

“The way to approach this is from a criminal point of view because that’s what has happened. And until we start holding people accountable, [Dr. Anthony] Fauci number one, you’re going to see people still falling out, still getting sick,” Calendar said. “You’ve got more than a hundred doctors here, all of whom will tell you that these shots caused vaccine-induced AIDS. they purposefully gave people AIDS. They knew this.”"

In the spirit of Trump's fringe, he could have taken it further and said it causes people to become pedophiles.
