Ingraham also blamed the Mueller investigation, saying that it crippled Trump from preventing Putin from invading Ukraine. Trump on Russia Attacking Ukraine: The 2020 Election Was Stolen and Immigrants Are Ruining America excerpt: "Ingraham, however, did not end the rehashing of MAGA old wounds during the program, choosing to somehow tie the Mueller investigation to the attack on Ukraine as well. “Tens of millions of dollars that were spent on that ridiculous Mueller investigation, we’re paying the price right now,” she said. “I think the world is paying the price at least the world that cares about this region. We wasted an opportunity. You just heard president Trump — he wanted to work with Putin and try to avoid what people thought was kind of building over a course of many years preceding the Trump Administration. He was unable really to do a lot and that it was a tacit admission on his part, he wasn’t able to do a lot. I lay the blame at the feet of the people who tried to hound him out of office.”"
Trump and Fox could go further and blame Congress for impeaching him and stopping him from withholding $391 million in U.S. money to Ukraine in 2019 that it needed to defend itself from Trump's buddy Putin. If Trump for his personal benefit had been able to fully extort Zelensky to open an investigation of Biden, Trump might have been able to eke a victory in 2020 and would have been able to give Putin the entire Ukraine without having to invade it and pay what Trump said was $2 of sanctions imposed by Biden. Dershowitz expressed such a line of thinking during Trump's first impeachment. The rationalizations can be as absurd as Trump and Fox can concoct.
Putin is upset with Finland and Sweden. He accused Kyiv of taking people hostage. Russia issues ominous warning to Finland, Sweden should they join NATO excerpt: "During a televised broadcast on Friday, Putin said it would be easier to come to an agreement without a "gang of junkies and neo-Nazis." These insults were aimed at the government in Kyiv, which he claimed had taken the people of Ukraine hostage."
Putin's invasion is giving Finland and Sweden reasons for joining NATO, and at the same time he is making what sounds like threats if they join NATO. Russia issues ominous warning to Finland, Sweden should they join NATO excerpt: ""Finland and Sweden should not base their security damaging the security of other countries," Zakharova said during the press conference. "Clearly [the] accession of Finland and Sweden into NATO, which is first and foremost a military alliance, would have serious military-political repercussions that would demand a response from our country," she said. This comes after Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the country was receiving support from both nations."

Meanwhile, Trump is still whining about what he says was a rigged 2020 election that allowed Putin to invade Ukraine.
Wow, I bet if they look again, there’s 15 boxes with COPIES of the classified documents that were seized. How you get to resistance turning over classified documents/ property for 8 months- wait- wtf?!- LOCK HIM UP!!!!
Trump's government hurricane chart that he illegally doctored (and illegally kept at Mar-a-Lago) and the love letters the dictator of N. Korea sent to him mean the world to him.
It's not his fault. He lost the election because he got low grades in college and Stormy Daniels took his money.
Trump’s intelligence chief ‘stunned’ by former boss’s praise for Putin – live excerpt: "Donald Trump’s former director of national intelligence has voiced his dismay at the ex-president’s remarks praising Vladimir Putin as he mounts a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Speaking to The Daily Beast, Dan Coats said he was “stunned” by Mr Trump’s remarks. “I cannot think of any other US president that would in a situation like this say what he said,” he told the site. Twice in two days, the former president hailed Mr Putin as “smart” and blamed Joe Biden for what is happening. “He [Mr Putin] was going to be satisfied with a piece and now he sees the weakness and the incompetence and the stupidity of this administration,” Mr Trump said while speaking with Fox News presenter Laura Ingraham. “As an American I am angry about it and I am saddened by it. And it all happened because of a rigged election.”"
Trump, who was impeached for withholding nearly $400 million in military aid from Ukraine, said 'this deadly Ukraine situation would never have happened' if he were in office Lauren Frias Thu, February 24, 2022, 10:34 PM Trump, who was impeached for withholding nearly $400 million in military aid from Ukraine, said 'this deadly Ukraine situation would never have happened' if he were in office excerpt: "Former US President Donald Trump, who was impeached for withholding nearly $400 million in military aid from Ukraine, said the country's current crisis "would never have happened" if he were still in office. Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine early Thursday, with Russian troops swarming into the country from its northern, eastern, and southern borders. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a Thursday-evening address that 137 Ukrainians had died and 306 had been wounded as a result of the invasion. Trump released a statement Thursday, saying, "If I were in Office, this deadly Ukraine situation would never have happened!" Trump earlier this week praised Putin's justification for invading Ukraine as "genius" and "savvy.""
House Panel Widens Investigation of Trump’s Handling of Documents excerpt: "WASHINGTON — A House committee on Friday expanded its investigation into former President Donald J. Trump’s destruction and removal of White House documents, demanding more information about classified material found at Mr. Trump’s property in Florida and reports that aides had discovered documents in a White House toilet during his time in office. In a letter to the national archivist, Representative Carolyn B. Maloney, Democrat of New York and the chairwoman of the Oversight Committee, said the panel was seeking a detailed description of the contents of 15 boxes recovered from Mar-a-Lago, Mr. Trump’s Palm Beach compound, including their level of classification, and all records that he “had torn up, destroyed, mutilated or attempted to tear up, destroy or mutilate.” She also said the panel wanted documents “relating to White House employees or contractors finding paper in a toilet in the White House, including the White House residence.” The letter also sought information about the findings of any federal inquiries into the classified material and any communications with Mr. Trump about the Presidential Records Act or White House policies on record-keeping."
An article that summarizes Trump's long string of court defeats in trying to overturn the 2020 election. As of January 6, 2021, Trump lost 61 cases and won one case in PA. Trump was trying to selectively disqualify as many mailed ballots as possible in urban areas because they tend to be votes for Biden. Trump lost PA by about 81,000 votes. By the numbers: President Donald Trump's failed efforts to overturn the election Trump and allies filed scores of lawsuits, tried to convince state legislatures to take action, organized protests and held hearings.. None of it worked. William Cummings, Joey Garrison and Jim Sergent, USA TODAY Published 10:09 am UTC Jan. 6, 2021 Updated 3:12 pm UTC Jan. 6, 2021 Trump's failed efforts to overturn the election by the numbers excerpt: "Biden finished with a record 81,281,502 votes nationally, defeating Trump in the popular vote by a sizable 7 million votes. With 51.3% of the national popular vote, Biden won with the highest share of the vote for a challenger of an incumbent president since Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1932. Trump won 46.8% of the vote nationally."
Trump is still saying that he won the most votes of any presidential candidate in history, which obviously is not factual.
Trump's failed efforts to overturn the election by the numbers excerpt: "The lone victory for the Trump team was a small one. A Pennsylvania judge sided with the Trump campaign, ruling that voters could not go back and “cure” their ballots if they failed to provide proper identification three days after the election. The ruling affected few votes and did not change the outcome in Pennsylvania, which Biden won by 81,660 votes."
The ruling shortened the post-election window by a few days to three days that voters had to cure a ballot that had an ID issue. That appears to be Trump's only court win.
Texas is having major problems with its primary elections this spring because of Trump-induced election reform legislation that passed that made more stringent the process of voter ID requirements which was already strict. Texans are having trouble correcting the ID issues in time for the primary elections. The effect of it is similar to Trump's desire in PA to throw out as many ballots with ID issues in urban areas. It's a magnified version of it across the entire state of TX that will likely disenfranchise the GOP as much as Democrats.
