Remember when the Senate under McConnell refused to investigate the Ukraine fiasco? Remember when they gave Robert Meuller limited power to investigate? Trump should be reinvestigated for that corruption again. The GOP investigated The Clintons for years, even before Ben Ghazi.

 

In the 70's era, members of both parties were sufficiently outraged that Nixon was involved in a burglary at Watergate that it forced his resignation.

Trump was involved in a coordinated, multi-state scheme that tried to manufacture an electoral conflict that would give Pence an opportunity to overthrow a fair election.

Yet some in the GOP are saying Democrats are simply playing politics with what the GOP thinks is an innocuous little stunt that was directed by Trump. They would be making the same remarks about Watergate if it happened in today's era.

 

We need someone who has better hearing than Robert Meuller.

Trump Aide Dan Scavino Was Revealed To Be The Person Trying To Anonymously Fight A Jan. 6 Subpoena

"WASHINGTON — Daniel Scavino Jr., who served as former president Donald Trump’s deputy chief of staff, was revealed late Friday to be the person who had tried, and failed, to win a judge’s permission to fight a subpoena for his phone records in the Jan. 6 investigation using a pseudonym.

The legal mystery began on Jan. 5 this year, when a person only identified as “Plaintiff” filed a lawsuit contesting a subpoena issued to Verizon Communications by the special congressional committee probing the Capitol insurrection. Normally, litigants can only proceed anonymously with a judge’s permission, and the anonymous plaintiff’s lawyer filed that request a few weeks later. On Jan. 19, US District Chief Judge Beryl Howell said no, and Scavino refiled the complaint under his name in the same case on Friday."

 

Scavino started as Trump's golf caddy. He stayed with Trump's administration throughout the entire term.

 

Nearly a year and three months after the 2020 election, people are still waiting for Powell to release her kraken.
