Now Trump's supporters need to make a choice. What's more important, supporting Trump or opposing the vaccine. It will be difficult for them to figure out, you can expect some heads to explode. Some will say, "If Trump says I should get vaccinated then I'll get vaccinated!" and they'll survive while those who still oppose the vaccine will die off and the average American IQ will rise a couple points. Those who don't get vaccinated and survive will vote for Sarah Palin for President, she'll lose and the Democrats will keep the White House for four more years.
Republican laws seek to nullify Democrats’ future election wins, report warns excerpt: "The report organises the anti-democratic efforts of GOP state legislators into four separate categories: “Legislative seizure of control over election results,” “legislative seizure of election responsibilities,” “legislative meddling in election minutiae,” and “legislative imposition of criminal or other penalties for election decisions”. Of the four, it describes bills which fall into the first category as “the most worrying” because they would “create the serious prospect of an election crisis by giving state legislatures the opportunity to overturn election results they don’t like”. State legislators in three states — Arizona, Missouri, and Nevada — have introduced these sorts of measures, which would “create opportunities for the legislatures in those states to hijack the process for certifying election results and choose a winner that does not correspond with the popular vote”."
Republican laws seek to nullify Democrats’ future election wins, report warns excerpt: "According to the report, such bills “would have significantly added to the turmoil that surrounded the election” and “raised the alarming prospect that the outcome of the presidential election could have been decided contrary to the will of the voters” if they’d been in place in 2020. It also found that such pieces of legislation are “a transparent response” to the failure of state legislators in swing states to heed Mr Trump’s call to overturn the results of last year’s election by sending Republican electors to be counted."
Palin had her shelf life. Trump also has a shelf life in the political world. Although he has the same type of nuttiness, he's more prominent and wealthier than Palin and will likely persist longer than Palin. Trump's shelf life for his stolen election seems to be losing ground lately. People like Giuliani, Lindell, and Powell haven't been in the news cycle as much. Trump is fracturing part of his base by mildly encouraging people to vaccinate in the hopes they won't be damaged or dead from the coronavirus and unable to vote in 2022 and 2024, yet still not against him so much about his coronavirus stance that they won't vote for him. It's a tricky game to play. Article from 2016. The brief rise and lengthy fall of Sarah Palin By Janell Ross January 23, 2016 https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...e-brief-rise-and-lengthy-fall-of-sarah-palin/ excerpt: "In the last week, we've seen Palin employ a most unusually arranged assortment of words to endorse GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, then wrestle with a sensitive family matter that most people would prefer never to face -- or at least do so in private. But a domestic violence arrest -- for Palin's son, Track -- is not private. It is, in fact a matter of public record. And, what Palin had to say about it certainly made a claim for privacy almost non-applicable. Palin suggested her son is suffering with PTSD and that the incident of alleged abuse is, in some way, Obama's fault. It has, in that way, been a week of classic Palin: Big speeches about dark things and fears, delivered in the form of cheery aphorisms studded with malapropisms, and a public relations-driven effort to try to move past or distract from a family crisis. It almost feels like 2008 again, when debating and discussing Sarah Palin, what she represents and what she means (philosophically and literally) was still fresh and new and people across the political spectrum seemed convinced that Palin was a figure poised to upend the established political order. Just after the Republican Party's August national convention where Palin became its official vice presidential candidate, a Washington Post/ABC News poll found McCain went from down by 8 percentage points among white woman to ahead by 12 points -- from 42 percent to 53 percent. Obama dropped from 50 percent to 41 percent. Similarly, a second poll conducted by Newsweek found that between July and August, McCain's support among white women jumped from 44 percent to 53 percent."
The rise and fall of Palin. The rise and fall of Sarah Palin: plucked away from Alaska, she lost her soul
Trump's term ended with a real American carnage riot at the Capitol that he incited with months of lies that left five of his rioters and five police officers dead in the aftermath. It was a somber but fitting end to his term.
Another Trump 'winner'. Capitol rioter accused of DUI in incident with assault rifle and cops while out on bail Sarah K. Burris December 23, 2021 Capitol rioter accused of DUI in incident with assault rifle and cops while out on bail excerpt: "James Grant was one of many who drove to Washington, D.C. for the Jan. 6 rally that turned into a riot at the U.S. Capitol. While out on bail, however, Grant got in trouble with the law again. The Justice Department's statement of facts about Grant explains that Grant was among those who shoved through the police barricades at the Capitol that day. He has already been indicted by the DOJ. And despite the fact that he's currently out on bail, Grant continues getting into trouble with the law. A recent police report involving Grant, flagged by legal expert Marcy Wheeler, revealed that earlier this month he "was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of an impairing substance(s)." The report also claimed Grant "made statements such as, 'Just kill me now' and 'It's over'" and "was in possession of an assault rifle, ammunition, weapon accessories, and fatigues." They are now attempting to revoke bail for Grant. "Now, while on pretrial release for these crimes, he was caught driving drunk with an assault rifle and over 60 rounds of ammunition in his vehicle, and initially attempted to flee from law enforcement. There are no conditions or combination of conditions that could ensure the safety of the community and Grant's presence in Court if he were to remain released, and the Government requests that he be detained pending trial in this case," the motion to revoke bail says."
Cue the Trump apologists and their victimhood pleas: All he did was drive drunk with an assault weapon and ammunition after participating in Trump's riot and having a criminal history before that. Capitol rioter accused of DUI in incident with assault rifle and cops while out on bail excerpt: "According to the filing, he was "convicted in 2018 for tampering with a vehicle and was sentenced on July 16, 2018 to 30 days of incarceration and 12 months of probation." Ahead of the Dec. 2021 incident, he was involved in something similar.""
Trump spokesperson sues Jan. 6 committee. Trump spokesperson sues Jan. 6 committee over financial records excerpt: "Taylor Budowich, current spokesperson for former President Donald Trump, on Friday sued the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, trying to block it from gaining access to his financial records. Besides the Jan. 6 committee and its nine individual members, Budowich also sued House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and J.P. Morgan Chase Bank. Budowich indicated in the suit that he had already provided “more than 1,700 pages of documents“ and “roughly four hours of sworn testimony” to the panel, cooperation that he said should have precluded the subpoena for his records. Budowich joins a growing list of people who have sued the Jan. 6 committee in recent weeks, mostly to either block the committee from obtaining phone records or enforcing subpoenas for documents and testimony. Budowich, however, is seeking to prevent J.P. Morgan from turning over his financial records, the first known suit of its kind."
