Joe's approval rating is way down, though this week he could finally pass a trimmed-down infrastructure bill which could start to turn things around. I have to wonder, what would his approval rating be if partisan Republicans weren't constantly fighting his agenda out of spite?

 

There HAS to be a way to put a foot on the neck of these two closet republicans. Because of 37 Kentucky coal miners the rest of the nation can't move ahead.

Would seem to me that there is far more concrete to pump for roads and bridges than there is coal to drag out of the deep shaft mines in Kentucky. They can't compete with wide open pit mines. Maybe they have some genius coal to battery technology they haven't told us about yet. Nah.

 

Modern drilling equipment means they can cover half the state in tunnels that nobody will ever know are there, until some of them collapse. Basically, neither the air we breath nor the ground we stand on is safe, fracking is destroying our drinking water, so I recommend Mars or a self-contained bomb shelter. Using a low radiation yield small nuclear bomb, the Soviets created hermetically sealed chambers underground, with 10 foot thick glass walls. I think the biggest was about 70 meters if that, but you can connect them. With the right surrounding materials, and a mountain above you, you could survive the sun becoming a red giant, and swallowing the earth.
