That remark by Trump was on December 5 at his rally in GA.

A month later, Trump used the same line on GA secretary of state Raffensperger during his pressure phone call. Trump claimed he won GA by hundreds of thousands of votes (that he thought were stolen from him) and that surely Raffensperger could find him just 11,780 to 'win' the state.

The lies of Trump and the threats from his supporters that it invokes is causing respectable people to want to leave their election positions, paving the way for Trump-minded people to take their place.

'You actually deserve to hang': Elections chief reveals death threats after Trump targeted him

    excerpt:

"Reporting on what it says is a "mass exodus" of elections officials – some, like Barron who have decades of irreplaceable experience and expertise – VICE says it spoke with over a dozen who were the targets of death threats and other attacks.

"Officials across the United States experienced physical stalking, explicitly violent phone calls, racial slurs, home surveillance, bomb scares, and threats of mass shootings. For some officials in Georgia and Pennsylvania, the threats have continued for nearly a year. And now, many of these officials want to quit," VICE adds."

Trump's supporters have used the example of Hartle, a Republican voter, to support their belief in widespread voter fraud (that supposedly always favors the Democrats).

Hartle had said that someone used his deceased wife's name to vote illegally.

Hartle has been charged with voter fraud.

Nevada man who claimed someone voted as his dead wife charged with voter fraud

    excerpt:

"Donald Kirk Hartle, a 55-year-old Republican voter who publicly protested a 2020 ballot being cast in his dead wife's name, has been charged with voter fraud.

The Nevada Republican Party and other conservative groups cited Hartle's claim as proof of "widespread" voter fraud hyped by then-President Donald Trump. However, Nevada prosecutors now say that Hartle himself submitted the fraudulent ballot under his dead wife's name."

The GOP's voter fraud poster boy was just charged with voter fraud
Pro tip: It's best not to accuse people of voter fraud if you, yourself, are fraudulently voting

Donald Hartle, the GOP's voter fraud poster boy, was just charged with voter fraud

    excerpt:

"Put simply, yes, it seems like someone did spoof Rosemarie’s ballot in the 2020 election: Hartle himself. And it’s worth noting that Hartle isn’t a nobody in the world of Nevada conservative politics, either: He’s the CFO of the Ahern Family of Companies, a construction business that has twice been fined for violating COVID laws while hosting Trump rallies at its facilities. What’s more, earlier this year Hartle’s boss, Don Ahern, was named finance chairman for the Nevada Republican Party, and formerly served “as an instrumental member of President Donald J. Trump’s finance team” according to the party’s press release at the time.

If convicted, Hartle faces up to four years in prison, and $5,000 in fines.

The Nevada AG’s charges against Hartle come just days after Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was forced to pay out $25,000 after publicly offering a bounty to anyone with information of voter fraud in the 2020 election — presumably to bolster Trump’s loud but unfounded claims of a “stolen election.” Paxton’s hefty payout was ultimately made to Eric Frank, a Pennsylvania poll worker who provided information of voter fraud committed by, oh yes, a registered Republican."

The Trump GOP keeps striking out in Nevada.

Nevada man who claimed someone voted as his dead wife charged with voter fraud

    excerpt:

"The Nevada GOP alleged that 1,506 deceased Nevadans had submitted ballots in the 2020 election, according to their report given to Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske. Only 10 of the alleged dead voters were actually deceased, according to Nevada's Office of Vital Statistics. Those 10 were referred to law enforcement officials for investigation, The Nevada Independent reported.

In mid-November 2020, the re-election campaign of President Donald Trump filed a lawsuit in Nevada claiming that voter fraud had caused him to lose the state. The suit aimed to either block the certification of the state's election results or award Nevada's electoral votes to Trump.

In early December, a judge ruled against the Trump campaign's lawsuit, stating that it hadn't provided any proof of its allegations."

Forty years of extensive studies concluded that both the republican party and the neurons in our brains organize along the lines of a flock of chickens. For over a decade I surveyed people informally, and over half of them admitted to making up their own definitions for words, while almost nobody knew the dictionary merely contains popular definitions. Many of them actually sought me out, having heard that I was asking two simple questions that nobody could answer, only to accuse me of lying about the dictionary.

Facebook is well documented as inciting people to extreme views and creating echo chambers that encourage the idiots to believe whatever the hell they want, or whatever anyone repeats often enough. For example, their "Like" button is widely used to promote moral outrage among the chickens, with over half of all conservatives claiming the sun revolves around the earth. Within two decades, both the workaholic Japanese and white US and EU populations will become minorities, and the problem will solve itself, as modern academia confronts the reality of the situation, that they are killing themselves, their own students, and the entire planet. My own work focuses on the linguistic mathematics required to encourage the idiots to either share their words and play nice, or kill themselves faster, by essentially rewriting the laws of thought, physics, and linguistics and automating instant karma. Its a lot of work, but I've finally got the math down, and it should be possible for anyone to crunch the numbers on a beefy home computer.

When I get through, academics won't have a clue what hit them, and will hide under their desks out of shame. Fuck em all, they're idiots, while I intend to kick-start the next scientific revolution, based on instant karma, and the principle of, "Pay it forward suckers, or else!" Ya don't need a weatherman to know the idiots are killing themselves and each other faster with each new invention.

Donald Trump's social network broke software rules and has 30 days to comply before access is terminated or the platform is sued, report says

    excerpt:

"While platforms are entitled to reuse Mastodon's code, as Gab already has, the Software Freedom Conservancy, a non-profit that enforces free and open-source software licenses, said they must comply with the Affero General Public License (or AGPLv3).

A condition of the APGLv3 is that every user can receive the complete corresponding source for the website based on that code. "That's how AGPLv3's cure provision works - no exceptions - even if you're a real estate mogul, reality television star, or even a former POTUS," said the Software Freedom Conservancy.

Truth Social doesn't comply with that provision, per The Verge, and violated the license by referring to its services as "proprietary." It shows that it fails to mention that it lifted the code from somewhere else, Gizmodo reported."

Hartle sounds similar to a man who was caught using the ballot of his ex-wife (who had moved out) to vote twice for Trump in 2020 and was caught. He claimed he was doing her a favor by voting for Trump on her behalf. His wife tried to vote but the records showed that her ballot had already been cast (by her ex-husband).

When questioned, Hartle had trouble explaining how someone would have obtained his deceased wife's ballot (such as stealing it out of his mailbox).

The Verge and Gizmodo are rags, shills for anyone with the money to buy their services, but the internet is not Donald Duck's playground, at least, not according to the international community. The EU is in the middle of a deal to allow Amazon and others to operate there, if they pay a minimum international tax for their business. Someone should tell Donald Duck the internet is being controlled by socialists in the EU.

Facebook, Twitter, and the rest have already staked out the turf, while Donald Duck will have to convince the international community that his website isn't pure garbage and shouldn't be taxed.

Money and misinformation: how Turning Point USA became a formidable pro-Trump force

    excerpt:

"Some GOP fundraising consultants have other worries about TPUSA’s operations and tax status given Kirk’s cheerleading for Trump.

“Some GOP donors worry that Kirk’s ostensible goals have been corrupted by spending so much time in and around Trump world,” the consultant said. “Further, people are concerned about the impact of Kirk’s prominent support for Trump on his group’s tax status.”

Despite the rising complaints Kirk’s operations are facing, TPUSA keeps expanding. In December it is planning to host a four-day “Americafest” in Phoenix that will feature conservative stars such as Tucker Carlson, Senator Ted Cruz and Representative Jim Jordan. But the biggest draw could well be Donald Trump Jr, who is slated to attend."

Special election in Ohio could offer clues on how to run with or against Trump in 2022

    excerpt:

"WILMINGTON, Ohio — A special election next month in Ohio’s 15th Congressional Districtfeatures a Republican clinging tightly to former President Donald Trump and a Democrat trying to patch together a new coalition that reaches from suburbia to Appalachia.

The landscape favors the Republican, coal lobbyist Mike Carey. Trump, whose endorsement helped Carey win a crowded primary, carried the district by 14 points in 2020.

But the Democrat, state Rep. Allison Russo, sees an opening for a candidate who resists ideological labels and can build on inroads her party made with college-educated voters in the Trump era. She flipped her legislative district, once a reliable Republican ring around Columbus, by 14 points in 2018.

“I know about tough battles,” Russo, 45, told a crowd of about 40 gathered this week at a park in Wilmington, about halfway between Columbus and Cincinnati. “And I know about getting out and doing the work necessary to reach across the aisle and talk to folks who are Democrats, Republicans and independents.”

The district stretches from several Franklin County suburbs of Columbus to working-class and rural areas in southern Ohio, including Athens, home to Ohio University and often referred to as a blue island in a deep red part of the state."

Special election in Ohio could offer clues on how to run with or against Trump in 2022

    excerpt:

"Carey, 50, campaigned with Trump during the primary but has kept a lower profile since winning the nomination. Through Friday, Russo had outspent him on TV and digital advertising, $347,000 to $135,000 when spending by the National Republican Congressional Committee on behalf of Carey is included, according to ad tracking firm AdImpact. Carey has declined invitations to debate Russo. And he has ducked questions about his friendship with GOP operative Corey Lewandowski, an early booster of his campaign who was recently fired from Trump’s super PACafter an accusation that he sexually harassed a donor. His campaign spokesperson also has not responded to NBC News’ requests for an interview.

In what’s expected to be a low turnout election, observers see a disciplined play for core GOP voters that will help Carey win, probably by a margin closer to Trump’s than to that of Stivers. But with new districts being drawn for 2022, there could be longer-term consequences."

Carey's plan is to ride the coattails of Trump and avoid debates and news interviews.

Trump Jr., Tucker Carlson, Ted Cruz, and Jim Jordan all at one event.

It's an indoctrination of high school and college students into Trumpworld.

Ahead of Jan. 6, Willard hotel in downtown D.C. was a Trump team ‘command center’ for effort to deny Biden the presidency

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/inve...5bd2d4-3281-11ec-9241-aad8e48f01ff_story.html

    excerpt:

"The effort underscores the extent to which Trump and a handful of true believers were working until the last possible moment to subvert the will of the voters, seeking to pressure Pence to delay or even block certification of the election, leveraging any possible constitutional loophole to test the boundaries of American democracy.

“I firmly believed then, as I believe now, that the vice president — as president of the Senate — had the constitutional power to send the issue back to the states for 10 days to investigate the widespread fraud and report back well in advance of Inauguration Day, January 20th,” one of those present, senior campaign aide and former White House special assistant Boris Epshteyn, told The Washington Post. “Our efforts were focused on conveying that message.”

In seeking to compel testimony from Bannon, the congressional panel investigating Jan. 6 this week cited his reported presence at the “ ‘war room’ organized at the Willard.” The House voted Thursday to hold Bannon in contempt of Congress after he refused to comply with the committee’s subpoena.

The committee has also requested documents and communications related to Eastman’s legal advice and analysis.

Eastman told The Post on Wednesday that he has not yet been contacted by the House select committee investigating the insurrection. Asked about his involvement in the Trump team’s operation at the Willard, Eastman said: “To the extent I was there, those were attorney discussions. You don’t get any comment from me on those.”

In May, Eastman indicated that he was at the hotel with Giuliani on the morning of Jan. 6. “We had a war room at the at the Willard . . . kind of coordinating all of the communications,” he told talk show host Peter Boyles, comments first reported in the newsletter Proof."

Behind the scenes, Trump was pursuing an overthrow of the 2020 election to the fullest extent.

His public schedule was blank post-2020 election. His White House staff released an empty statement that he was meeting with many people and making many calls to work tirelessly for the American people.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/inve...5bd2d4-3281-11ec-9241-aad8e48f01ff_story.html

    excerpt:

"On Jan. 2, Trump, Giuliani and Eastman spoke to 300 state legislators via a conference call meant to arm them with purported evidence of fraud and galvanize them to take action to “decertify” their election results. “You are the real power,” Trump told the state lawmakers, according to a Washington Examiner report. “You’re the ones that are going to make the decision.”

A participant on the call, Michigan state Sen. Ed McBroom (R), recalled listening as Trump, Giuliani, Eastman and others described the power state legislators have over the certification of electors. “I didn’t need any convincing about our plenary powers,” McBroom told The Post. “I was listening to hear whether they had any evidence to substantiate claims” of significant voter fraud that could change the results in Michigan. The callers did not provide additional information, he said, and he did not support a delay in the electoral vote count.

But others appear to have been persuaded. Three days after the call, dozens of lawmakers from Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin wrote to Pence. They asked that he delay certification of Biden’s victory for 10 days to allow “our respective bodies to meet, investigate, and as a body vote on certification or decertification of the election.”"

    excerpt:

"Also on Jan. 2, Eastman, Giuliani and Epshteyn appeared on Bannon’s podcast to make the case directly to Bannon’s pro-Trump listeners. They discussed what Bannon called that day’s “all-hands meeting with state . . . legislators that the Trump campaign and also others are putting on.” The comments were first highlighted by Proof.

They argued that state lawmakers were legally bound to reexamine their election results. “It’s the duty of these legislatures to fix this, this egregious conduct, and make sure that we’re not putting in the White House some guy that didn’t get elected,” Eastman said. He contended that Congress could itself decide on Jan. 6 to select Trump electors in contested states, but that “it would certainly be helped immensely if the legislatures in the states looked at what happened in their own states and weigh in.”

Eastman was not the first or the only person in Trump’s sphere to argue that Pence was empowered to block or delay certification of Biden’s victory. Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn — and Trump himself — suggested as much on Dec. 23, retweeting a post about the possibility of invoking “the Pence card.”"

Congress was implementing the process outlined in the Electoral Count Act of 1887 to hear objections to the Electoral College results That process was interrupted by Trump's riot at the Capitol. The legal process of objecting failed for Trump. It had nearly no chance of winning. It required majority votes in both the House and Senate for each objected state in enough swing states that Trump lost to take away sufficient electoral votes from Biden to deny him the win.

Trump and Eastman had a backup plan for that process that involved pressuring state legislatures to decertify their own electoral vote. Trump was trying to buy more time on January 6 in the hope that he could somehow overturn the election at the state level before Biden took office. January was very late in the game to even be trying such a scheme two months after the election.

Another approach is to stack election-critical positions at the state level with Trump supporters who won't abide by the results based on the popular vote. Palmer in MI is an example. She initially voted to certify the election results in Wayne County but later tried to rescind her vote after Trump started a pressure campaign on the MI state legislature.

Nearly a year after the 2020 election, Trump is still demanding that Arizona overturn its election and declare him the 'winner' or hold another presidential election in 2021 or even later to make him the 2020 'winner'.
