    My wife, a California gal, wanted snow when she moved here. Until she saw what an average winter was like! :D

    Today is another somewhat cloudy day, we had more rain yesterday and a poor 19 year old street vendor was washed down a gully and drowned, her taco stand disappeared in the torrent. Here in the desert one must watch out for storms in the mountains leading to rushing runoffs in the empty stream beds. They can kill ya!

    And now the bay is kinda funky with all the crap washing down into it... this place was not designed for wet weather...being in a desert.

    Today's astrology indicates some surprises may be in store with Uranus trine the Moon, Neptune will spread confusion and fog later today as it moved into opposition with the Moon. But these are short lived aspects.

    Yesterday Mercury was trine Jupiter, perhaps good news arrived?

    On the Thursday the 7th this weeks big aspect of the Sun conjunct Mars may shake things up a bit, but remember folks Mercury is in retrograde state now... not a good time to sign contracts or buy electronics.

    Monday was a bust for running. Got home early enough to run before the rain started. Then nature said no. Yesterday was a good day. Cloudy, cool, and humid. Made up for Monday. Today is a better day :D
