Wildlife Image Thread

Just missed a good shot of a 4' Sonoran Gopher Snek that noodled through my yard the other day.

I was too busy trying to get a good look at if there was a rattle to worry about finding the camera unfortunately but it went a little something like this,,,



It went on out across the road toward the desert from the yard but I'd first spotted it in the area I've been trying to draw king, black or gopher snakes to for helping with the local rodent population via. hanging a bunch of bird feeders as "bait". Been meaning to go out there and look for tracks but haven't yet. I'll be sure to have the camera handy when I do.

 

Who would win?

 

Not sure if this counts as wildlife but these are our latest additions to our crazy family..

So where are these pictures from? I spent a fair amount of time in Northern Minn, WI, and the UP. Only other place I’d expect to see so many Eastern White Pine is in Northern New England.

 

Deer in Port Townsend, Washington. They hang out in the neighborhoods but won't let you approach them.

 

MN. They are pics I took while either driving around or as you probably can tell, waterfowl hunting. Except the frog.... that's in my woods while deer hunting. Oh and the eagle pic is when i was ice fishing up by the Canada border.
