Speaking of torches...

Stopped at the smoke shop today and got a dab pipe/thingy... Basically a blown glass pipe stem with a titanium tip. This necessitated getting a torch, which also leads to buying butane for the torch. Rabbit hole... I'll have to get a wooden box for all this stuff now and then find a place to put the box. Yeah, it's home use stuff for me. Even if I just wanted to smoke out in my woods I'll just roll one, not drag all these "bits of gear" outside,.

But, this is my first time using this method and the hits are so clean. It's definitely worth all the additional "stuff".

 

Thanx but for now anyway I'll do my dabbing at home. One step at a time.

And again speaking of torches, another plus I find (Having hair nearing waist length) with dabbing as opposed to joints and flower pipes is how i get to keep the direct flame a relatively safe distance from my mop.

 

Long ago when I had long hair I set it afire more than once. Learned to brush it aside before I light a joint.

 

Good idea to the extent that it really lives up to its name below room temperature. VERY fragile so keep it wrapped up till you get a feel for it BUT don't worry, just let it warm up and it self heals

 

Only thing that set my hair on fire was a Ford dump truck. Got my beard and mustache too.

First real job was at a golf course... Our job was to smoke as much pot as we could while keeping the grounds maintained. The Supervisor's job was to try to catch us smoking pot... Lighting a roach in the wind with long hair, beard, and mustache became an art form.

 

Anyways... My order showed up today instead of tomorrow. Somehow they did a direct delivery from Oregon to Shithole Ohio overnight... according to the tracking number.

That aside, I tried the vape cart first. Tastes really bad... had a few hits of that. Had a few of a different cart that I've been using to get rid of the taste. Other brands taste much better.

About an hour later I rolled a number with my D8 flower and a healthy dab of distillate on the paper... Tastes.... eh, okay. Smoked about 1/3 of that number and I'm fucking ripped. The rest of it is staring at me and I'm telling it "fuck you... I'm done".

So, yeah. This brand works incredibly well. Tastes like crap.

To be fair, the flavor is botanical, and I could see how getting terps from hemp could end up tasting like this. The function of the terps is evident.

Have not tried dabs yet... I still have other varieties to check out too.




Oh Look... There's most of a number sitting here. I should hit that...

Grabbed a 1 gram preroll of Han shot first and a couple carts, super sour diesel and Northern lights.
Started off with the Northern, definitely an indica sooo,, I'll finish this thought later

 

I never did... I put it away in a fancy box made in India and then went to bed...

So, this morning I was deciding which I was going to try next. A bowl of flower, which was already ground, and a drop of the "Harlequin" (I've never heard of it as a strain, they say it's sativa) out of a dripper would be easiest. This tasted much better than the Diesel #56 I had last night. The Batch numbers #56 and #57 are supposed to mean a great deal to flavor and effects. The Harlequin is batch #57.

and.... Yeah... I'm ripped... I've been ripped since the second hit over an hour and a half ago... bowl was about 6-7 hits.

Anybody need anything from the asteroid belt while I'm out?

I'm sitting in the living room. Smoking my bong. All windows open and enjoying the evening. Wish I was in a cabin out in the woods.

 

Was watching the Monarch Butterflies earlier today... Part of their migration every year is through my property. They rest over night in the Oak trees and will be gone tomorrow morning. Won't see them again until next year...

Not a cabin, but I have a Mid-Century Modern home in the woods. (not this year's photo. This was 2016, I think)
