I don't get it either and the sheer number living under this mass delusion is bewildering.

The latest estimates are two decades at most, and they'll become a minority, but I think the estimates are conservative. Children's values and mental health have gone down the toilet altogether over the last two decades, and up a quarter of adults in some places, like Michigan, no longer want children. Funny how that works, when dictionaries are the work of the devil and half of you still believe the sun revolves around the earth, you ain't nothing but a mindless marketing target, so we might as well make money off them insisting on killing themselves.

Fox News and Facebook, are about to discover how to really make money.... I figure, its something to do, since they stole our government and trashed it out, and politics are just Professional Wrestling without rule of law. I prefer to change the channel myself.

Looks like only 200-400 people showed up for the rally in DC today.

They should have painted "Dead Duck" on the barrier wall. These idiots are the hardcore, who are so totally brainless they often have difficulty crossing the street, and don't yet comprehend that a "Civil Disobedience Riot" is just another fucking riot. Donald Duck is desperately ranting and raving about votes being stolen, because he's attempt to drum up support for his next civil war, but the rest of the country has moved on.

Just a possibility, mostly speculation. I have heard stories of people flying the flag at half-mast in mourning of America.

Can you see the cold civil war? This country is so divided the term applies. And Trump is the biggest cause of it with the hateful rhetoric he's been spewing. The good news is that more and more of his supporters have decided it's time to move on. The right-wing rally in DC today drew fewer than 500 people, there were more cops than demonstrators. They'll be back next year for the mid-term elections, and hopefully the Republicans will lose badly, especially those whom Trump endorses. Then the Republican Party should decide it's time to move on.

Trump Angling To Put In Power Election Officials Who Could Twist Vote For Him In 2024

    excerpt:

"In what observers call an “incredibly dangerous” move, former President Donald Trump is pushing to replace swing-state election officials with those who backed his rigged election lie.

Trump has already endorsed Republicans who supported his endlessly repeated lies about the 2020 presidential election for top elections posts in three key swing states: Arizona, Michigan and Georgia, CNN noted.

Current elections heads in each of the states resisted his pressure to overturn votes. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger — who’s running again — recorded Trump ordering him in a post-election phone call to “find” enough votes to turn his defeat into a victory.

In his latest endorsement Monday, Trump pushed state GOP Rep. Mark Finchem for Arizona secretary of state. Finchem has peddled QAnon conspiracy theories and baselessly insists that that 2020 election was stolen from Trump via “rampant” fraud."

Fulton County, which contains Atlanta, has been a target of Trump in his quest to overturn the 2020 GA election.

Georgia Republicans Make Move Toward Fulton County Election Takeover | HuffPost

    excerpt:

"The performance review process for local election officials is a new component of Georgia elections after state Republicans passed a sweeping law in late March that will dramatically limit voting access in the state. It included measures that paved the way for legislators to influence election management, including one that allows for the replacement of county election board members by the state legislature.

Democrats and voting rights experts have raised concerns that Republicans are trying to affect election outcomes by attempting a partisan takeover of election administration.

“After giving themselves unprecedented power under Senate Bill 202, Republicans wasted no time in waging an anti-democratic, partisan power grab, attempting to seize control of elections in Georgia’s largest county, home to the greatest number of voters of color in the state,” Lauren Groh-Wargo, the chief executive of Fair Fight Action, a Democratic voting rights group, told The New York Times."

During his pressure call to Raffensperger, Trump was upset that a signature verification check was done in Cobb County and not Fulton County.

Raffensperger didn't give Trump a break and 11,780 votes, but a loyalist to Trump might if Trump can manage to install one in states like GA and AZ.

Trump during his pressure call to Raffensperger:

"So what are we going to do here, folks? I only need 11,000 votes. Fellas, I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break. You know, we have that in spades already."

Donald Duck and the Tea Party don't have a political agenda. Politics actually require sharing your words and playing nice and, when you are constitutionally incapable of sharing your words and playing nice, its called the Mafia.

Before the "Justice for J6" rally yesterday, Trump released this statement.

"Our hearts and minds are with the people being persecuted so unfairly relating to the January 6th protest concerning the Rigged Presidential Election. In addition to everything else, it has proven conclusively that we are a two-tiered system of justice. In the end, however, JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL!"

"The January 6th protest concerning the Rigged Presidential Election" is what he calls it. No insurrection, no riot. Despite his support fewer than 500 people showed up this time. Let's face it, he'll never give up. We need to have the Republican Party wake up and realize he's a liability and dump him. Then who knows, maybe he'll run as an Independent for Governor of Florida, might even win. Unless of course he's a convicted felon by then. Trump is the last person who should hope that JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL!

After a while, it seems prudent to wonder less about Trump and more about the folks that support him. While the damage he did as POTUS was horrible, none of it was particularly surprising given who was doing it. He's a lifelong con man and in '16, many people were sure that the idea of enough people voting for him to get him installed in office was an absurd concept. Couldn't happen, remember?

What's far scarier are the tens of millions that support him, many in a worshipful manner. I mean, what's the story with them? Yes, tons of them are Republicans and would vote for the GOP candidate even if Jeffrey Dahmer was up for the office. Still, doesn't there come a point when you have to look at the person running for the office in addition to his/her political party? Not for these folks, apparently.

We can understand the ultra-rich people. Many of them undoubtedly recognize how dangerous Trump is, but they vote Republican (and always did) because they know that the party supports the mechanics of getting them even richer......and probably laugh behind their hands at all the poor & middle-class folks that vote strictly Republican, not realizing that they're playing directly into the hands of the rich.

    Republican.jpg

So what happens in 2024? Obviously, people have to get out and vote as they did in '20. Too many didn't bother going to the voting booths in '16 because the polls told us that Hillary was a shoo-in; so what's the sense of standing in line when the issue is already decided, they figured. Of course, Trump points out that 8 million more people voted for him in '20 than did in '16. (Naturally, he failed to mention that 15 million more voters cast their ballot for the Democratic candidate in '20 than in '16). But turnout is everything, especially with Republicans doing all they can to change the laws in order to keep Democratic voters from the polls. That non-rich voters see nothing wrong with this might be the most dangerous..... and ominous.....concept of all.

That Trump made progress with Black & Hispanic people in '20 is absolutely baffling. After everything he's done and said in his racially divisive manner, how can this possibly be? It's the same contradiction in logic we see when watching women wear "Women For Trump" tee-shirts. They were against Bill Clinton and Mario Cuomo for their harassment of women, but they support Trump? With his all-encompassing need for attention and admiration, he might petition to be installed as dictator.....or maybe even King.....and his supporters would joyously approve. Heaven help us.

Plus, can you imagine what a second Trump term would be like? If we thought he believed in his absolute power during his first term, how much farther would he destroy democratic principles in his second?

Count on this if he wins in '24: one of the first things he'll do is try to get Congress to allow the president to serve more than two terms. If he succeeded, we'd have Trump running for the office again while in his 80's.

    Great, huh?

Trump's rioters blatantly broke the law in the name of his lie about an election that he mistakenly thinks was stolen from him. They are being prosecuted, not persecuted. Justice is prevailing.

To Donald Duck and the Tea Party, sharing a dictionary is a commie plot. Libertarians believe in freedom, going to the highest bidder.

The J6 rally wasn't able to bust the 37 'political prisoners' out of DC jails.

Trump might want to consider offering prizes to those who vaccinate.

The Republican governor of WV has made repeated pleas for the public to vaccinate.

W.Va. governor says only a 'catastrophe' will push unvaccinated Americans to get shot

    excerpt:

"West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice (R) said Sunday that those who are still unvaccinated against COVID-19 will be pushed to get the shot only by a “catastrophe” in which “an awful lot of people die.”

On ABC’s “This Week,” host Martha Raddatz asked the governor what would push those who have not gotten vaccinated in the state “over the edge” to change their minds.

The governor, who in recent weeks has called on hesitant constituents to get the shot, responded, “I hate to say this, but what would put them over the edge is if an awful lot of people die.”

Justice said the “only way” he could see the nearly half of adults in West Virginia who have not yet gotten vaccinated alter their thinking would if be "a catastrophe" occurred "that none of us want."

The governor said that while the state has launched a lottery to give cash, guns, trucks and other prizes to people who have gotten vaccinated, another lottery is happening in his state in which people are gambling with their lives."
