If it doesn't, my work will encourage the Tea Party to attempt to ban cellphones. :)

There are at least a few hundred thousand people, working on the same technology.

Trump gives virtual speech to event linked to controversial religious ‘cult’ on 9/11 anniversary

    excerpt:

"Mr Trump appeared at the “Rally of Hope Think Tank” event sponsored by the Universal Peace Federation, a group co-founded by the Moons in 2005 and aligned with the Unification movement.

In his remarks, the former president praised the movement and the late Moon.

“What they have achieved on the peninsula is just amazing,” Mr Trump said of the movement. “In just a few decades, the inspiration that they have caused for the entire planet is unbelievable, and I congratulate you again and again. … Their example reminds all of us who strive for peace and a better future, that we should never give up and never, ever lose hope."

Trump and the Moon religious group.

Trump gives virtual speech to event linked to controversial religious ‘cult’ on 9/11 anniversary

    excerpt:

"Mr Trump is not the only GOP figure with ties to the movement.

Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich also appeared on video at the event. Former vice president Mike Pence and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have also appeared at Universal Peace Federation events.

In May, Mr Pence claimed that Think Tank 2022 is “bringing the wisdom of leaders in government, business, religion, civil society, ” according to Mother Jones.

Mr Pompeo, who was introduced as a “devout Christian,” boasted about Mr Trump’s relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

In the past Hyung Jin “Sean” Moon, the son of the Moons, campaigned for Mr Trump and attended the US Capitol insurrection on 6 January."

The Moonies and the January 6 Insurrection | DCReport.org

    excerpt:

"A pro-gun, pro-Trump sect composed of U.S. and non-citizen zealots was involved in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and largely escaped attention. Known as Moonies, it is preparing for insurrection 2.0.

Look back to three weeks before the 2020 presidential election. Former White House senior counselor Steve Bannon addressed a crowd gathered on the grounds of Kahr Arms/Tommy Gun Warehouse in Greeley, Pa., by video.

He warned about a supposed Democratic conspiracy to steal the election from Donald Trump.

“What the Left intends to do — and you’re seeing it in Pennsylvania right now — use the courts, use social media, use the mainstream media to try to make sure Trump is not declared the winner that night,” Bannon said. He promised that the Trump forces would “win this thing,” adding: “Pennsylvania is the key that picks the lock for a second Trump term.”

Frank Scavo, a local Republican politician who previously served on the Old Forge School Board in Lackawanna County, emceed the event. Following Bannon’s remarks, Scavo reinforced the previous speaker’s points.

“You heard Steve Bannon,” Scavo said. “Now is our time, now is your time. Working the polls — all you’re doing is making sure that it’s going straight, that it’s going according to plan. All you’re doing is making sure that there aren’t busloads of people which show up and just happen to vote.”

Then, Scavo introduced the next speaker — a man dressed in a camouflage-patterned suit and tie and wearing a crown of bullets with a gold-plated AR-15 rifle slung over his shoulder.

It was Pastor Hyung Jin “Sean” Moon, leader of World Peace and Unification Sanctuary, more commonly known as Rod of Iron Ministries."

The Moonies and the January 6 Insurrection | DCReport.org

    excerpt:

"On Jan. 6, a video shared on Instagram by Sean Moon shows him and at least a dozen Rod of Iron Ministries members reacting to chemical spray from law enforcement officers on the plaza outside the Capitol.

Moon later led members onto the scaffolding on the west side of the building. One Rod of Iron Ministries associate, Robert Pickell, pushed against a line of Capitol Police officers in riot gear outside the Columbus Doors as other rioters pelted the officers with projectiles and bashed out windows with flagpoles.

In video reviewed by Raw Story, Pickell can be seen charging into the police line to the left of the entrance, as the doors open and another person yells, “They’re in!”"

    https://www.dcreport.org/2021/08/04/good-way-to-die-the-moonies-and-the-jan-6-insurrection/excerpt:

    excerpt:

"Shortly after the Jan. 6 insurrection, Noll said, Sean Moon informed his followers that “part of this growth plan was to go to Texas.” The church purchased a 40-acre campground and marina on a lake an hour east of Waco, Texas. The property was listed at just under $1 million. The sect held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the campground, rechristened “Liberty Rock,” on April 20. Kyle Yoder appears to be managing the compound, based on videos posted by Rod of Iron Ministries, and Noll lauded them for “doing a good job getting the property up to where it needs to be.”"

Trump-loving church (and church that Trump loves so much that he praised it on the 20th anniversary of 9/11) buys compound near Waco, TX.

Trump loving church that uses guns in holy rituals buys compound near Waco, Texas

    excerpt:

"A cult-like group that incorporates AR-15s into its worship ceremonies and embraces Donald Trump's MAGA politics has bought a compound for its "patriots" 40 miles from Waco in Texas.

The compound is meant to be a place of refuge for members of the Sanctuary Church – which is also called Rod of Iron Ministries – ahead of a "war" and "genocide" that will supposedly be brought against them by the "deep state”.

Vice News reported that the church is led by Pastor Hyung Jin "Sean" Moon, who is often referred to as "King" by his followers.

The Sanctuary Church has an unusual pedigree; while it incorporates American resentment politics and syncretic-Christian ideology, the group is also a direct descendant of the Unification Church, who were also known as the "Moonies”."

PT Barnum's Freak Show is struggling to draw audiences like he once did, so he's breaking out the second string of freaks. Ted Nuggent may have Covid. With any luck, he will get the seven year itch, and scratch himself to death.

The Moon ministry played a significant role in Trump's insurrection at the Capitol. It targeted PA, GA, and DC.

The Moonies and the January 6 Insurrection | DCReport.org

    excerpt:

"Following the 2020 election, Rod of Iron Ministries deployed its American members to a string of large rallies in Washington, D.C., Harrisburg, Pa., and Valdosta, Ga., in November and December that helped build momentum for the Jan. 6 insurrection. Church members enlisted from Japan and South Korea also fanned out across Pennsylvania for almost daily roadside rallies in support of Trump.

As leader of Rod of Iron Ministries, Sean Moon promoted the Big Lie that the election was stolen from Trump, while issuing apocalyptic warnings to his followers to prepare for violent confrontation as President Joe Biden’s inauguration approached.

They marched in paramilitary formation in D.C., with members outfitted in tactical vests, helmets and protective glasses. They networked with other pro-Trump groups such as Vets for Trump and Phyllis Schlafly’s Eagles, along with Pennsylvania political figures like Frank Scavo."

Interesting guy. He supported Obama in 2008, practiced Buddhism, and has traveled to North Korea.

Moonies believe their leader can see your soul by looking in your eyes. They have mass weddings, where he tells you who your soulmate is. Vegas strippers are interesting people too, and wear shiny clothes and know more about philosophy than you might imagine...

Pro-Trump Rally Expecting 10,000 Attendees Sees Only a Few Hundred Show Up

Organizers of a Kentucky rally in support of former President Donald Trump featuring several prominent allies and conspiracy theorists expected some 10,000 people to show up this weekend. Instead, less than 300 were in attendance when local journalists attempted to cover the proceedings.

The "We the People Reunion" was held at the Muhlenberg County Agriculture & Convention Center Fairgrounds in Powderly, Kentucky, on Friday and Saturday. MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, retired General Michael Flynn, attorney Lin Wood and others were among the featured speakers, according to the event and ticket page online.

    The event's description explained:

"The Biggest Patriot Rally Of The Year - A True Reunion Of We, The People, combining the biggest names in the conservative patriot movement including Gen. Flynn, Lin Wood, Candace Owens, Mike Lindell, and many others along w/top notch Christian & Country Music Entertainment! Simply put: This will be THE 'Event Of The Year' for American Patriots!"
