Trump apparently hasn't started an official presidential campaign committee for 2024. If he had, and if it had raised more than $5,000, he would be required to file a statement with the FEC that he qualifies as a candidate (even though such a statement doesn't necessarily mean someone will actually be running as a candidate).

He could still make a statement that he plans to run in 2024 regardless of not currently being required to file a statement with the FEC.

Trump is making shadowy remarks and blaming the FEC for his not yet announcing that he plans to run in 2024.

The money Trump has raised since the 2020 election is not 2024 presidential campaign money. If it had been, he would have already been required to file a statement with the FEC that he qualifies as a candidate (like he did on his inauguration day in January 2017).

 

So if he decides to run (provided he can) will he be able to say it's his own money, and that he's financing his campaign with his own money? Unless of course he's spent it all on his legal defenses.

Before going missing, she left work abruptly and made an appearance at the symposium of Lindell, a staunch Trump ally.

John Pierce is still missing. He has been a defense attorney for Trump's rioters. He has been said to be in the hospital with COVID.

In what seemed to be a distraction before the last day of the symposium, Lindell claimed someone attacked him outside his hotel.

'Worrisome' letter defending Tina Peters sent to Colorado county clerks - Colorado Newsline

"The typed section of the letter, which is identical in the versions viewed by Newsline, discusses Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold’s investigation into an election-system security breach in the office of Mesa County Clerk and Recorder Tina Peters. Mesa County election-system hard drive images were copied and released to conspiracy theorists with alleged participation by Peters. Staff from Griswold’s office visited the clerk’s office last month to investigate the breach, and the FBI and Mesa County district attorney are conducting a related criminal investigation.

The letter refers to the visit as “raids,” and it defends Peters, saying she did nothing wrong. Griswold is using a “‘Gestapo Standard’ of election intimidation” on behalf of a “tyrannical, weaponized government,” it says.

“Enough. There is no more time nor reason to tolerate or negotiate with tyrants,” the letter ends, adding a demand that Griswold resign.

Carly Koppes, the Republican clerk and recorder for Weld County and president of the Colorado County Clerks Association, also received a version of the letter. The handwritten portion of Koppes’ letter says “We the people” don’t want voting machines touched or loaded with new software, and it ends, “You may be next!”

Koppes said the meaning of that line is ambiguous, but taken with other threats to her office since the November election it’s notable."

 

It's the same tactic Trump and his supporters are using to try to defend Trump's rioters. They are supposedly patriots being persecuted by law enforcement who are doing their jobs.

The voting machines are suspect because of a burglary by people sympathetic to Trump in Mesa County, CO. They need to be replaced.

The situation is similar in Maricopa County, AZ where chain of custody was compromised due to the pro-Trump partisan AZ audit conducted by people and groups who were incompetent and who worked with a lack of transparency and accountability. A few million dollars worth of election equipment needs to be replaced.

The closest candidate would be John Sullivan who filmed the Capitol riot including the shooting of Babbitt. He filmed protests by BLM during the summer of 2021. At the Capitol riot, he was sympathetic to Trump's protesters and tried to convince Capitol police to move away from the doors to let Trump's protesters go in.

One officer is going to lose his eye, and another was stabbed with a metal fence stake."

 

An incident on video shows an officer being struck in the eye by a rioter inside the Capitol. It may be the same incident described in the article. A second officer helped the first one away from the group of rioters. The injured officer could be seen holding his hand over his eye.
