15 Miami-Dade Public School Staff Members Die Of COVID In Just 10 Days | HuffPost

    excerpt:

"A 30-year teaching veteran was one of 15 Miami-Dade County public school staff members who died of COVID-19 in just 10 days as Florida continues to reel amid the continuing, overwhelming toll of an unfettered pandemic.

“It’s a tremendous loss,” said a school official, referring to the death of longtime teacher Abe Coleman, 55, earlier this week.

“The number of lives that he impacted are countless. So many young men had the benefit of him intervening in their lives and pointing them in the right direction,” Marcus Bright, who works with a local education program 5000 Role Models of Excellence, told NBC-6 TV.

Coleman taught at Holmes Elementary School in Miami’s Liberty City area, which is a primarily Black neighborhood with 42% of the population living below the poverty line.

Local education officials haven’t released the identities of the other teachers or staff members."

The GOP and its potential presidential candidates have become so extreme that Trump might want to start differentiating himself from the monsters he helped create (like DeSantis who cloned himself after Trump) by softening his stance on issues such as vaccines like he did at his rally in Alabama..

It's not going to be easy for Trump after he painted himself into a corner by incessantly implanting such beliefs into his followers.

I am wondering if Mike Pence might form a band of traditional conservatives to go against Trump?

Its not called cheating, when half the damned country demands you lie to them for their own protection, Fox News is legally entertainment, and its illegal to vote for Mickey Mouse. The only winners are those with enough money to buy an election.

All signs indicate former president Trump's former Secretary of State Pompeo will be running for president in 2024.

Did Trump just go up with the first TV ad of the 2024 presidential campaign?

    excerpt:

"Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo headlines an event for a GOP candidate running in a special legislative election, in Bedford N.H. on August 31, 2021 (CAVPAC )

Pompeo, an Army veteran and former congressman from Kansas who served as CIA director and then America’s top diplomat during the Trump administration, made a jam-packed one day swing on Tuesday through New Hampshire, the state that for a century’s held the first primary in the race for the White House.

He’s flirted with a possible White House run and pundits see Pompeo as a potential contender for the GOP presidential nomination, especially if Trump doesn’t run again in 2024. His trip to New Hampshire comes after he’s already made two stops this year in Iowa and one in South Carolina, which votes third in the GOP primaries and caucuses.

Pompeo’s been crisscrossing the country, helping Republicans running in elections this year and in the 2022 midterms. While that was at the top of his agenda during his day in New Hampshire, Pompeo also met privately with a group of influential Republican activists and leaders before headlining a state party luncheon, and the trip understandably once again sparked 2024 speculation.

The available drivers include a few dirt rally motocross drivers, who worked for Ringling Bros Barnum and Bailey. Scum floats to the top, and now runs for president knowing they will lose, but it the best publicity they can buy.

The investigation of possible Trump corruption in Georgia is ongoing.

Georgia DA Investigates Trump’s Call to ‘Find’ Votes

    excerpt:

"A local criminal investigation into then-President Donald Trump’s attempt to meddle with Georgia’s 2020 election recount is inching forward, as Fulton County investigators have interviewed elections officials and received documents from the agency, according to three people with direct knowledge of the probe.

“They’ve asked us for documents, they’ve talked to some of our folks, and we’ll cooperate fully,” Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger told The Daily Beast this week.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis previously revealed to The Daily Beast that she has spun up a new anti-corruption team to explore what state laws, if any, were broken when Trump and his allies tried to overturn election results there. But her office has been quiet about the matter in the five months since.

Her investigators have since interviewed at least four officials at the secretary of state’s office, asking questions that show a particular interest in Raffensperger’s separate phone conversations with Trump and U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, according to two of these sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity."

Trump appointed three conservatives on the Supreme Court and embarked on a relentless, evidence-lacking campaign of alleging voter fraud. The majority of state legislatures are controlled by the GOP. Eighteen states have followed Trump's lead and have passed restrictive voting legislation..

Democrats counter Republican-led voter restrictions with early, aggressive outreach

    excerpt:

"The raft of new Iowa measures, signed into law by Republican Governor Kim Reynolds in March and June, significantly reduce the power of local election officials and threaten criminal penalties if they do not comply. The laws shave an hour off poll openings and the time workers can take off to vote, and limit boxes where people can drop ballots to one per county.

The day after Iowa's law came into force, the League of United Latin American Citizens sued in state court, claiming it violates the state constitution's guarantee of the right to vote and that the fraud rationale was simply a ploy to suppress voters. In Iowa, there were just 27 convictions for various types of election misconduct, including fraud, since 2016, according to government figures.

The group's Iowa political director Joe Enriquez Henry, said the law targets those who are more likely to vote absentee or lack flexible working hours, including the elderly, multiple-job holders and the poor.

"It appears Republicans don't want democracy to prevail," he said."

The DEMOCRATS helped the GOP to shred our constitution, gerrymander our elections so badly they had to invent new science to rig them better, and helped them install conservative judges everywhere.

With friends like that, about all the democrats are good for, is exploiting for money, which I'm working on.

Trump is trying to solve his problems with religion for a 2024 presidential run.

He's at it again with Paula White, his 'spiritual' advisor and another initiative.

Donald Trump takes a swipe at Catholics and Jews who did not vote for him

    excerpt:

"He pointed to the "situation with abortion" with Democrats, and wondered "how can you vote 50/50?".

"I just don't understand how that's even possible," he said.

The former president expressed similar disappointment about receiving a low number of votes from Jewish people.

"Look what I did with the embassy in Jerusalem and what I did with so many other things. Israel has never had a better friend, and yet I got 25% of the [Jewish] vote," he said.

"I think they have to get together. There has to be a little bit more unity with the religious groups all represented on this call.":

Trump thinks he can buy Jewish votes in the U.S. by relocating the capital of Israel to Jerusalem.

Trump could make similar remarks about the dismal vote numbers he received from the military in 2020, saying that he gave so much money to the Pentagon and just doesn't understand it.

He fixed the dishwashers for the white suburban housewives but received lackluster votes and just doesn't understand it.
