People like Trump initiate these types of nefarious rings by spreading lies. Tina Peters is the type who is in a security-sensitive position and who actually steals the information or permits others to steal it. Trump campaign donor Mike Lindell accepts the stolen property and provides a venue for it to be published.
Trump tries to explain which Taliban member he spoke with, if it was even a Taliban member. CNN Mocks Trump Over Wild Account Of Maybe Talking To Taliban Leader Who 'Screamed' excerpt: "As for the former president, his long-winded story, mangled syntax and one-sided conversation on Hewitt’s program was vintage Trump. For one thing, he initially seemed fuzzy about about who he actually talked to. ″I spoke to ... sort of the known head, but nobody was sure, but now I’m sure, and I was sure then when I was speaking to him. And I knew as soon as I spoke to him. And even the introduction, I say ‘Hello,’ and he screamed something very tough,” Trump recalled. He apparently had no idea what it was Baradar screamed."
CNN Mocks Trump Over Wild Account Of Maybe Talking To Taliban Leader Who 'Screamed' excerpt: "Trump was then asked a very important question by Baradar — which he refused to divulge. But the former president did reveal his answer, which revealed absolutely nothing, Cillizza noted. “He asked me one question, and I’d rather not repeat that question, because it’s a very scary question,” Trump noted. “But he asked me one question, and I gave him the answer: ‘Yes.’”"
Yeah, like Republicans really care about the lives of the service members over there in Afghanistan to begin with- let alone the police officers that were killed, severely beaten during 6 January. Biden has been office 7 months and they’re crying for him to resign- over the mess THEY created! An attack was going to happen at some point, and I’m actually surprised that it didn’t happen a lot sooner. ISIS had time to see how the evacuation operation was going and figured out what would work. GOP needs to STFU!!!
If Biden said the sky was red, they'd say it was blue. If he said it was blue, they'd say it was purple polka dotted. There's no negotiating with idiots and assholes.
Annivsary of MLK address during the current era of voting rights being chipped away by the Supreme Court and by GOP-controlled legislatures that are passing voting restriction bills initiated by Trump's 'stolen election' lies. So Trump got booed at an Alabama rally after recommending the vaccine to his supporters. Could this be what finally turns them against him? Telling them something sensible?
Trump talked as if all the actions of his rioters would somehow be legal and acceptable if he could convince them to not attack the police. Their actions were criminal right from the start when they were standing on the Capitol steps without permission to later beating police officers, obstructing government proceedings, ransacking Congressional offices, menacing officials, destroying property of journalists on the Capitol lawn, throwing a journalist of a wall, and making death threats to Pence and Pelosi. Six hours of paralysis: Inside Trump’s failure to act after a mob stormed the Capitol By Ashley Parker, Josh Dawsey and Philip Rucker January 11, 2021 at 11:21 p.m. EST https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...a46e2e-542e-11eb-a817-e5e7f8a406d6_story.html excerpt: "Trump ultimately — and begrudgingly — urged his supporters to “go home in peace.” But the six hours between when the Capitol was breached shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon and when it was finally declared secure around 8 p.m. that evening reveal a president paralyzed — more passive viewer than resolute leader, repeatedly failing to perform even the basic duties of his job. The man who vowed to be a president of law and order failed to enforce the law or restore order. The man who has always seen himself as the protector of uniformed police sat idly by as Capitol Police officers were outnumbered, outmaneuvered, trampled on — and in one case, killed. And the man who had long craved the power of the presidency abdicated many of the responsibilities of the commander in chief."
Doubtful. In '16, I was positive (as were the polls) that Trump didn't have a chance of actually being elected president. Since then, I've come to believe that's there is no force on Earth that will shake their belief in him. Isn't this what's behind their desire to see the '20 election overturned? They claim to want to ensure the integrity of the future voting process even while we can see that all they're really interested in is 'fixing' the election rules so that less minorities will show up to vote Democrat. If they succeed, it would establish precedents that would hurt the GOP in the future as well as the Dems, but the only thing these folks care about is getting Trump 'installed' as president again, not what the future would hold. They hear & see nothing else. That said, the only (remote) possibility of getting them to change their minds is to show them a policy that Republicans fought against suddenly work against them, personally. For instance, if one of these folks is enrolled in Obamacare but see the GOP get rid of it so that they suddenly find themselves without medical insurance, that might teach them the lesson they should have been learning all along. Still, you know what? That probably wouldn't change their minds, either. Trump would tell them that the Democrats are the ones that got rid of Obamacare......and they'd believe it. While it would be great to see Trump being booed in Alabama as a vehicle that turns them against him, remember: there are tens of millions of these people. If the past 5 years haven't clued them in to the ridiculousness of supporting Trump, I can't imagine what would. The only hope is what happened in '20, in which millions more people realized the truth and came out to vote.......against Trump.
This fucking moron never wanted to be president... He wanted fame with a side order of cash inflow. He thought he could turn the United States into his own private reality TV show that was on 24/7.... and he did. While he was at it fucking up the whole country and other portions of the planet was gravy on top. And his base loves him for it... Man there are some really stupid people in this country.
I agree. If you watch any of the interviews with trump supporters you’ll see that nothing will change their mind.
Still there are those who, if in order to continue to support Trump they'd have to get the vaccine, would drop Trump like a rock. The vaccine which scientists worked on 24/7 in order to save lives and bring an end to a deadly pandemic is just too evil.
