They may seem divergent but it’s all connected to Donald Trump. The Arizona audit was generated by the Republicans in the legislature because they believe the 2020 Presidential Election was stolen Dr. Stella Immanuel was a complete unknown until her name was mentioned by then President Donald Trump during a COVID-19 briefing The Pennsylvania auditor who was fired was a big stop-the-steal advocate, All roads seem to lead back to Trump.
Which is why Amy Tisue would not say who organized or is directing the door-to-door canvassing. They are canvassing because Trump keeps telling them the election was stolen, not for an objective assessment which they don't have the capacity to do, which relegates them to activities such as informal canvassing of trailer parks whose results they can publish at another hapless Trump-ally Mike Lindell cyber symposium.
The Trump crowd is agitated by Corman who replaced Mastriano with Dush, referring to Corman as a RINO who is obstructing what they consider a true effort (like the hapless one in AZ) to overturn (in their minds) the PA election for Trump. Trump lost PA by 80,000 votes. But Trump is still obsessed with overturning the elections (which is far too late to do) in PA, AZ, and GA because those three swing states would give him just enough electoral votes so that, in his mind, he 'won' the 2020 election. His fringe GOP enthusiasts in those states are still trying to conduct 'audits' for him in a reckless manner that compromises security of ballots and chain of custody of voting equipment (like what Tina Peters did by tampering with voting equipment in Colorado and Cyber Ninjas did in AZ by sending ballots to a shack in Montana).
Except in the psyche of really fringe Trump allies like the pillow guy Mike Lindell who moved Trump's reinstatement as president by the Supreme Court (which is impossible) to the end of 2021. The delusional behavior of Trump and his allies is bad enough, but what is worse is the damage that it is causing at the state level to the security of the voting system as a result of grandstanding by Trump allies like Mastriano in PA and Peters in CO, damage that is of concern to those in the GOP who still appeal to rational behavior and abiding by the law (who are being branded as RINOs by Trump and his supporters).
Oklahoma Man Arrested for Allegedly Pushing Associated Press Photographer Over a Wall on Jan. 6 An Oklahoma man has been arrested for allegedly attacking the media during the Jan. 6 pro-Trump riot at the U.S. Capitol Complex. Benjamen Scott Burlew, 41, stands accused of assault in a special territorial jurisdiction and physical violence on restricted grounds. This assault included physically grabbing and shoving the [member of the news media] victim and pushing him forcefully over a low wall,” the court papers allege. “These crimes occurred in the general area of the Lower West Terrace of the U.S. Capitol Building.” According to the FBI, the photographer was wearing a lanyard identifying him as a journalist and “was carrying at least one camera” while standing on a wide set of stairs when he was “was pulled backwards down the stairs by at least two unknown” assailants. Each of those unknown assailants are said to be white males. A third unknown assailant is also identified as a “white male.”
Granderson: The election is over. In Arizona, the Trump campaign continues excerpt: "You would think at a certain point Republicans would see the damage being done to the country they say they love. Instead lawmakers from neighboring Utah, the Midwest and Tennessee have traveled to Arizona to see if they can conduct similar audits back home. Democracy is being poisoned by people who care only about winning. And now there’s a retiree in Scottsdale casually talking to the media about participating in a “soft coup” because her party has led her to believe that’s how you handle election results you don’t like. Presumably that’s better than the attempted “hard coup” at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6."
Instead of blaming Pelosi, Trump allies in Congress should be directing their concerns to the Capitol police and the Secret Service. Unrest was anticipated but not to the extent of what Trump incited on January 6. Secret Service warned Capitol Police about violent threats 1 day before Jan. 6 excerpt: "The Capitol Police officers who assembled at the Capitol on Jan. 6 were woefully unprepared for the mob that overwhelmed them and swarmed into the building. In the chaos, dozens of officers were bludgeoned, stabbed or injured by rioters. One Capitol Police officer died in the days after the attack, and another died by suicide in the days after. Three members of the Metropolitan Police Department who responded on Jan. 6 have died by suicide. “That day continues to be a constant trauma for us literally every day, whether because of physical or emotional injuries or both,” Capitol Police Officer Aquilino Gonell told lawmakers in a late July hearing where officers described the violence they experienced on Jan. 6."
The Republican Party should change their name to the American Taliban Party. If elected, they could impose “Sherry” law.
Trump rioter arrested for assaulting a reporter. Oklahoma Man Charged in Assault on AP Photographer on Jan. 6 excerpt: "An Oklahoma man seen on video pushing an Associated Press photographer over a wall outside the Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot has been arrested, authorities said Tuesday. Benjamen Scott Burlew of Miami, Oklahoma, is the second person to be charged with attacking photographer John Minchillo, who was documenting the mob of former President Donald Trump's supporters that day. Burlew is accused of yelling at, grabbing, dragging and ultimately pushing Minchillo over a low stone wall on the Capitol grounds. Authorities say Burlew was among several people who attacked Minchillo, who was wearing a helmet-style gas mask and was dragged by another person down the exterior stairs by his lanyard with Associated Press lettering. At the bottom of the stairs, Burlew and three other people grabbed the photographer and pushed, shoved and dragged him again, the FBI said."
Followup to July article. Former officer arrested in Capitol riot asks followers to "rise up" against Republicans excerpt: "A former police officer arrested for his alleged participation in the U.S. Capitol riot is calling for conservatives to "rise up" against Republicans. Kevin Tuck was arrested on July 15 in connection to the January 6 insurrection. Tuck, 51, was a member of the Windermere Police Department until he was arrested and resigned. His son Nathaniel, who is also a former police officer, is also facing charges. According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Jennifer Harrington, both men boasted to their families about storming the Capitol. Tuck has been charged with obstruction of an official proceeding; entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds; entering and remaining in the gallery of Congress; disorderly conduct in a Capitol building; and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building."
FBI finds SCANT evidence Capitol riot was coordinated by pro-Trump or far-right groups, report says | Daily Mail Online The FBI has found scant evidence that the January 6 attack on the US Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials. Though federal officials have arrested more than 570 alleged participants, the FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump, according to the sources, who have been either directly involved in or briefed regularly on the wide-ranging investigations. A former senior law enforcement official with knowledge of the probe said that '90 to 95 percent of these are one-off cases.'
Jan. 6 investigators include Trump White House in first document requests excerpt: "It’s the panel’s first step to seek documents on how the U.S. government handled the chaos of the siege on the legislature. Set up by House Democrats with two anti-Trump GOP members, the select committee is escalating its investigation even as the chamber breaks for a monthlong recess. The committee, chaired by Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), announced that it plans to seek records from the executive branch related to the attack and its run-up — including "communications within and among the White House and Executive Branch agencies" on and before Jan. 6. Thompson gave the agencies a two-week deadline to respond. The broad range of the requests could make it difficult for them to do so in time. The select panel is also seeking records relating to attempts to place politically loyal personnel in positions across the government after the election; the planning, organization and response to Jan. 6 and earlier; and attempts to overturn the rule of law and overturn the 2020 election."
As long as what ever rag posts Negatively towards the right people is ok, one side posts, then the other, Some place in the middle is the truth
It's gotta be somewhere. Lately all it take is a flashy banner and a relevant topic and it's considered gospel - then it all goes downhill from there.
Oh no--it was all leftists who stormed the capital on January 6th--you know---antifa, black lives matter fools, democrat followers --remember--the ones that contested the results of the election. C'mon--smarten up and get on the Fox News train of thought.
