Jodi Lynn Wilson and Cody Temple, a mother and son from Swanton, and Gabriel Burress and Madison Pettit, a couple from Swanton, were charged Thursday in U.S. District Court in Cleveland. The cases will be transferred to a Washington, D.C., federal court.

According to court documents, Wilson and Temple are charged with knowingly entering a restricted building without lawful authority, demonstrating in a U.S. Capitol building and two counts of disorderly conduct. Pettit and Burress face similar charges."

Shroyer led a crowd of people who marched from a park near the White House to the Capitol on Jan. 6, an FBI agent said in a court filing.

The agent said video footage showed Shroyer leading chants and telling the crowd: "Today we march for the Capitol because on this historic January 6, 2021, we have to let our congressmen and women know, and we have to let Mike Pence know, they stole the election, we know they stole it, and we aren't going to accept it!" Pence was Trump's vice president."

A prosecutor says an Iowa man seen in a videotaped confrontation with a police officer during the Capitol insurrection should be returned to jail until trial because he violated terms of his release by watching anti-government internet videos about the Jan. 6 attack.

Douglas Jensen was released in July after spending six months in jail. At the time, Jensen told a judge that he had been duped by QAnon conspiracy theories and had since experienced a “wake-up call.”

Thirty days later, on Aug. 13, a pretrial services officer found Jensen in his garage in Des Moines listening to the news on a video-sharing website similar to YouTube that features anti-vaccine and anti-government content, according to a court filing Thursday."

 

This puts Ohio in the lead for the most insurrectionists, right?

Ohio has about 2.8 Trump rioters charged per million people of the state population.

That's more than FL and TX which have about 2.1 and 1.8, respectively.

Of the four (OH, FL, TX, and PA), PA has the highest per million with about 3.7.

“Specifically, the investigation revealed no evidence to establish that, at the time the officer fired a single shot at Ms. Babbitt, the officer did not reasonably believe that it was necessary to do so in self-defense or in defense of the Members of Congress and others evacuating the House Chamber,” the statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

Babbitt has been viewed by some on the right as a martyr, including by former President Trump, who claimed in July that the officer who shot the 35-year-old had “no reason” to shoot her."

 

Trump said that all of his rioters posed no threat.

 

A good exercise for Trump would be for him to be summoned to court for a civil or criminal case against him where he is forced to watch the rioting of his supporters at the Capitol that he says posed no threat.

Trump could invoke yet another fantasy to deny it, such as saying that the police officers injured were crisis actors.

 

Trump should be tried before the World Court.

Trump and his followers never referred to the protests against police brutality during the summer of 2020 as tourist activity. The unrest seemed mild in contrast to Trump's people beating and nearly killing police officers at the Capitol.

Trump talked about invoking the Insurrection Act to stop the summer protests but was countered by officials within his own administration.

There should be a sharp dip downward in the white population this year, from Covid and the idiots still insisting the sun revolves around the earth. Unfortunately, it is hitting poor populations harder then wealthy ones.
