    'Tis another sunny day! Thankfully no rain in today's forecast, but there is a tempest south of us blowing up this way.

    For now, the air conditioners have all been serviced, and are humming along quietly, as the electricity seems to be flowing steadily. The amount of dirt that got blown out by pressure washing was amazing. Rivers of mud.

    Did I mention it is dusty in the desert?

    HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM EDT WEDNESDAY... ..

    EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING...

    WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 100 expected. For the Excessive Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values between 105 and 109 possible.

    WHERE...Much of Southern New England.

    WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, from 11 AM to 8 PM EDT Wednesday. For the Excessive Heat Watch, from Thursday morning through Thursday evening.

    IMPACTS...Extreme heat and humidity will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.

    Today we will probably get more thunderstorms, the streets are already a sea of mud.

    Yesterday I had quite an adventure just going three blocks to the water store and back.

    Almost got swallowed in mud on one street, but my driving skill prevailed and I got out. And home. But had to wash the car, especially the wheels and the wheel wells as they were caked four inches or more thick with quickly turning to stone mud.

    How do you deal with that heavy coat in this???

    Is there air conditioning under that???
