DeSantis the DEATH-MAN. There's a campaign slogan for you .......... Death-man DeSantis. I hope Florida voters thank him for the soaring costs of hospitalizations in that state, and the rising insurance premiums they'll surely have to shoulder.

Maybe DeSantis also thinks gobbling down lots of butter, ice cream, bacon, lard, potato chips, candy, and smoking 2 or 3 packs of cigarettes every day are good ways to handle arterial blockages too??? When you're sick with some condition ............. better call DeSantis and THE REPUBLICAN PARTY for "expert" advice.

Could it be that THEY got vaccinated ......... actually believing the medical experts - but not daring to publicly admit it????? DeSantis might want to be careful about the slope he is on. It seems he is punishing the urban areas with his anti mask mandate because they didn’t vote for him. He carried the rural areas, but not the big cities.
He only beat Andrew Gillum by 32,000 votes in 2018.

^^^^^^^^ The video clip points out a simple fact - if people would put down their political "labels" and "armor" - and look at the obvious facts as they can clearly be seen in the numbers, the U.S. could turn the corner on the Covid-19 case numbers. One promising sign ........ the vaccination rates are trending upward.

Maybe some folks are waking up to reality. It eventually becomes tough to deny what your eyes see. Sooo sad that so many people died from following hair-brained "leaders" - or from being exposed to uncaring individuals screaming about their "Constitutional rights."

For the Christian folks out there, let's see what Jesus taught about doing all one can FOR your fellow man / woman ...........

The parable of the "Good Samaritan" teaches that a Samaritan man (like oil & water with Jewish people - they just didn't mix or agree on anything) stopped his journey, took a man who'd been robbed and beaten to an inn. There he gave the innkeeper money to care for the injured man. (who had been ignored by several other passers-by, including a Jewish priest). The Samaritan man then told the innkeeper that he'd stop by on his return trip to see how the injured man was doing, and if he needed more money for his care. (Love thy neighbor as yourself)

If - by teaching this parable - this is how Jesus shows us to care for our fellow man or woman ........... how does that compare with "tough, he-man" folks who refuse to wear masks, social distance, get vaccinated, or follow ANY advice from the medical community to protect each other / care about each other from Covid-19??? What about those men & women who go up to masked people and rip off their masks??? NOTHING Christian or "Godly" about all those behaviors / attitudes / lack of concerns.

Funny how so many of those uncaring people "claim" to be good Christians.

 

Abbott is using this to deflect from problems in his state, i.e. the failure of the Texas power grid.

Trump just filed a charge in court to prevent Congress from getting his taxes. That's the liar who said he would release them after the audit was finished five years ago. There must be some real good stuff in the documents; after all, he has spent millions on high paid lawyers to keep his taxes secret. Now the case at hand is about the law which clearly says the House Ways and Means Committee can get them. The other case is in New York where Cyrus Vance already has Trump's records. Individual 1 must be very frustrated with our laws?
