It stands to reason that Trump would commute the sentence of someone whose real estate business slid into bankruptcy and who stiffed investors.

Senior living exec ordered to pay back defrauded investors $79M months after Trump commutes prison sentence

    excerpt:

"Jon Harder hit the jackpot in January when then-President Donald Trump commuted his sentence as he was six years into a 15-year prison term.

But the Salem entrepreneur, who was convicted of defrauding 1,200 investors out of about $120 million, ran out of luck Tuesday in federal court. A judge ruled that Harder must repay more than $79 million in restitution to his investors.

The sudden 2008 collapse of Sunwest Management, Harder’s empire of senior living complexes, thrust him into prominence. Hundreds of mom-and-pop investors had put their retirement dollars into various Sunwest projects only to watch them slide into bankruptcy."

Unfortunately an NDE (Near Death Experience) is what it takes for some people to finally come around.

It may be the 'cabinet' to which Meadows is referring.

Mark Meadows: Trump is meeting with non-existent 'cabinet members'
To hear Mark Meadows tell it, Trump is a fully engaged president meeting with cabinet members. It's likely to make unhinged conspiracy theories worse.

Mark Meadows: Trump is meeting with non-existent 'cabinet members'

    excerpt:

"Quite right. Meadows' comments appeared to be coming from some alternate reality. The former chief of staff described Trump as a fully engaged president, despite the fact that Trump is neither fully engaged nor president. Meadows went on to reference Trump's cabinet members, despite the fact that former presidents have neither cabinets nor cabinet members."

But not all. In a news article in the last 3 or 4 days, a guy from Missouri while in an ICU on oxygen told medical staff that he doesn't believe in the Covid vaccine, because - in his own words - "We're from a strong conservative family."

WTF does that have to do with the reality of a highly infectious disease??? Did his REPUBLICAN INDOCTRINATION help keep him from getting seriously sick??? I certainly DO NOT request or take medical advice from Democrats, Republicans, or any other political party. I listen to doctors ........... you know ........... those people trained (and are life-long re-trained) in the latest medical knowledge & technology. The REAL medical experts.

How Ashli Babbitt went from Capitol rioter to Trump-embraced ‘martyr’
By Paul Schwartzman and Josh Dawsey
    July 30, 2021 at 7:25 a.m. EDT

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2021/07/30/ashli-babbitt-trump-capitol-martyr/

    excerpt:

"“Who shot Ashli Babbitt?” Trump asked over and over in the ensuing days, suggesting that the 35-year-old Air Force veteran was the victim of an overzealous Capitol Police officer whose identity was being covered up.

“Every time he talks about her, he says her name,” Witthoeft said in a phone interview. “He could say ‘Her’ or ‘She’ or whatever. But he says ‘Ashli Babbitt.’ He is sure to mention her name repeatedly. I appreciate that. It’s millions more people I can reach.”

In the months since Jan. 6, Trump and his allies have waged a fevered campaign to rewrite the narrative of one of the darkest days in the nation’s history, when a mob attacked the Capitol, threatening to kill Vice President Mike Pence and using baseball bats and flagpoles to beat police officers as they hunted for lawmakers, many of whom hid behind locked doors, fearing for their lives.

Inside the Capitol siege: How barricaded lawmakers and aides sounded urgent pleas for help as police lost control
The Post obtained hours of video footage, some exclusively, and placed it within a digital 3-D model of the building. (TWP)

Yet, instead of marauders invading the Capitol, Trump and his acolytes describe a largely peaceful crowd of protesters unfairly maligned and persecuted by prosecutors, Democrats and mainstream journalists.

At the center of their revisionism is Babbitt, their martyr, whose fatal attempt to leap through a door that led to the House chamber — captured in graphic detail on video — they describe as a heroic act of patriotism.

“An innocent, wonderful, incredible woman, a military woman,” Trump said during an appearance on Fox News. At a Florida rally July 4, he called her shooting “a terrible thing” and said “there was no reason for it.”

Just before she was shot, Babbitt was among a group of rioters bashing in the glass-paneled doors that led to the Speaker’s Lobby, down the hall from the House chamber, where lawmakers were being evacuated."

Trump has been spreading rumors about who shot Ashli Babbitt.

Officer who shot Ashli Babbitt wasn’t assigned to any Congress member’s security

    excerpt:

"Trump brought up the question again on July 11 during a discussion with Fox News’ "Sunday Morning Futures" host Maria Bartiromo. But this time, he had a theory.

"I will tell you they know who shot Ashli Babbitt. They're protecting that person," Trump said in the phone interview. "I've heard, also, that it was the head of security for a certain high official — a Democrat — and we'll see, because it's going to come out. It's going to come out.""

He's so filled with jealousy and rage watching President Biden meet with world leaders and preside over the affairs of state, that he decided to form his own cabinet to convince himself he's still president.

It wouldn't surprise me if he's become so unhinged he forces his staff to refer to him as President

Even if the officer who shot Babbitt had been assigned to Pelosi or Schumer (and Capitol Police says he wasn't), it was his duty to protect members of Congress from people like Babbitt.

This charade exists because T**** is a severe outlier on the outermost FRINGE of "narcissistic dream world." He needs to have loyal GUPPIES clinging to his genitalia and LEMMINGS to stroke his ego. How embarrassing for those dolts ....... but they don't seem to notice how they paint themselves.

Jihadists flood pro-Trump social network with propaganda

    excerpt:

"Just weeks after its launch, the pro-Trump social network GETTR is inundated with terrorist propaganda spread by supporters of Islamic State, according to a POLITICO review of online activity on the fledgling platform.

The social network — started a month ago by members of former President Donald Trump’s inner circle — features reams of jihadi-related material, including graphic videos of beheadings, viral memes that promote violence against the West and even memes of a militant executing Trump in an orange jumpsuit similar to those used in Guantanamo Bay."

Florida Covid hospitalizations shatter record as DeSantis downplays threat

    excerpt:

"TALLAHASSEE — The head of Florida’s largest hospital association warned that the skyrocketing number of Covid hospitalizations is unlike anything the state has seen before — even as Gov. Ron DeSantis downplays the spike.

The Florida Hospital Association on Monday reported 10,389 Covid-19 hospitalizations, the most statewide during any point in the pandemic. This follows Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reporting over the weekend that the state had more than 21,000 new coronavirus infections on Friday. It was the highest one-day total for Florida, which now makes up roughly one and five new cases nationally.

About 95 percent of those hospitalized are unvaccinated, and Mary Mayhew, the president and CEO of the Florida Hospital Association, said the Delta variant that is sweeping through Florida is infecting young and unvaccinated people and is much different than the previous strain.

“We have to convince 25-year-olds, 30-year-olds that this is now life threatening for them,” Mayhew said during an interview on Morning Joe. “That is not what they saw and what we experienced last year.”"
