Can you imagine the consequences if it actually happens? If the 6 Republican-nominated justices thoughts go no further than: "Well, I'm a conservative so I have to find for Trump." If they "install" him as president? If they totally disregard the will of the 155 million people that voted and let the Supreme Court decide who wins and who loses?

This insane action would insure that chaos rules every time there's a presidential election. In fact, the term 'free elections' would become absolutely meaningless; the legitimacy of every result would be challenged, by Democrats as well as Republicans. Sure, the GOP would scream bloody murder if the Democrats did the same things the Republicans did in the 2020 race, but how could the Democrats not use the same tactics as the Republicans, especially if there's a chance that they could get the election results overturned?

The beating democracy would take would be beyond disastrous. Forget the 'will of the voters.' Election Day would be a meaningless exercise in........nothing.

No, I would think the Court will vote 9-0 to leave the 2020 vote the way it is.......as a matter of law. Nothing else should be of concern to them on this issue.

 

First, they have to find a Republican Trump supporter who can read, write, spell, and type. After that, we might be able to see their secret and funny audit.

 

The SCOTUS will not waste their time with this.

Given the situation in Florida with the spike in cases & hospitalizations ............ how can anyone with a CLEAR, THINKING MIND support that a$$hole ??? His policies are the reason things are turning to SHYT there.

 

DeSantis has to keep kissing Donnie's ass if he wants any chance for a run in 2024, and what better way to do that than further politicize wearing a mask at the risk of a few zillion lives, what they heck, they're old and probably won't vote, anyway.....

 

Actually, that is who votes.

 

The republican shit show of incompetence, stupidity , surrealism, lying, uselessness, anti American, Russian-Chinese-Iranian-North Korean DUPES just keeps rolling along. Meanwhile, the aforementioned countries will keep disrupting much of our citizenry with bullshit news placed handily by some in the media, now abetted by foolish republican legislators who could care less about this country, other than the positions and the money-power garnered from those positions.
And Sinema and Manchin hold a special place in hell, as far as I'm concerned. They are even MORE culpable.

 

Sen. Lindsey Graham tests positive for COVID-19

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WCBD) – Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Monday announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Graham, he “started having flu-like symptoms Saturday night and went to the doctor [Monday] morning.” He said his symptoms are currently mild and compared them to a sinus infection.

Graham will quarantine for 10 days.

 

Another police officer committed suicide, which brings the total to three.

The total who died during or after the riot and likely due to causes related to it is now nine.

Third police officer who responded to Jan. 6 attack dies by suicide

"A third police officer who responded to the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol has died by suicide, the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) confirmed on Monday.

Gunther Hashida was found dead in his home on Thursday, according to an emailed statement from the department.

A spokesperson for the MPD confirmed to The Hill that Hashida died by suicide.

“We are grieving as a Department as our thoughts and prayers are with Officer Hashida’s family and friends,” the department wrote in a statement.

Hashida was assigned to the Emergency Response Team within the Special Operations Division, according to the department."
