Public hearings are being held in Congress about the Capitol riot with damning testimony by police officers.

Those who are succumbing to the virus are Trump-minded people who have refused to vaccinate and who are now being chastised by GOP leaders of red states.

The stuff that Trump and the GOP dropped on the shingles eventually hits the fan.

One-party rule in ANY country is a recipe for fascism and fascist dictators to take over. True freedom will be lost. It's why the Founders set up a 3-branched style of government to have checks and balances to prevent a dictatorial / monarchial rule in the U.S.A.

The existence of the U.S.A. is just about over. 20 more years MAX. Maybe not even that long. Fascism is moving in quickly because too many people can't see it for what it is. Once a dictator is enthroned, it'll be too late. { Remember T**** wanted to be "president for life." } The laws will be changed so that "voting" to get rid of him - or her - will be impossible. Trump wanting the U.S. government to defend him and his associates because they think they were acting within the scope of their offices implies that their actions to incite a riot to overthrow the government were within the scope of their offices.

The U.S. government shouldn't be picking sides on which candidate to support, let alone support their riots that try to overthrow the U.S. government.

The cops in Philly ADMIT they should NOT have fired rubber bullets and tear gas on those PEACEFUL PROTESTERS. The protesters were simply walking on a roadway carrying signs - not being violent in any way.

The Constitution GUARANTEES the right to peaceful assembly of large numbers of people to protest. If anyone in the Philly case was violent - it was the cops. They've admitted their mistake. I live in the Philly region, so I know the story & watched the whole thing on TV.

I guess she sees no violence in the U.S. Capitol insurrectionist rioters as they beat, choked, and crushed the Capitol police as they tried to protect ALL Congressional members.
