In today's political climate, 'principled conservative' is an oxymoron.

‘Let’s call him Mohammed’: Trump fails to remember name of Taliban leader during wild speech

    excerpt:

"Referring to the organisation’s leader, Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada, the former US president appeared to forget his name – instead telling the 5,000-strong crowd he would just “call him Mohammed”.

Citing America and Nato’s withdrawal agreement from Afghanistan, Mr Trump said: “I told the Taliban leader, I spoke to the leader and I said – let’s call him Mohammed – I said, ‘Mohammed, we’re leaving.’”

He went on to impersonate Akhundzada, performing a series of grunts to the jeering crowd, telling them: “He’s a rough man.”"

Trump is still claiming many thousands of dead people voted (for Biden).

He's still promoting the narrative that 74,000 votes were cast (for Biden) in Maricopa County, AZ without knowing the source of the ballots.

Donald Trump Phoenix, Arizona Rally Speech Transcript July 24

    excerpt:

    "Donald Trump: (26:05)

We didn’t lose. We won by a lot. But they say we lost. So we need more than 10. So here we go. And we have numerous categories, almost all of which are much more than we would need to win the election. And again, remember the word determinative. If I lost by 10 and we found out that there were only two dead people, okay. But there weren’t. There were thousands and thousands of dead people that voted in different states, thousands and thousands. Some even applied for an application to vote. Do you believe that? So not only did they vote, they applied for an application, but if had two dead people and we lost by 10,000, I don’t consider that. I don’t. I only talk when it’s much more than you need. So think of this. 74,000 mail-in ballots were counted with no clear record of them being ever sent."

Trump thinks he won the AZ election by saying that he needs to show Biden allegedly received as little as 10,000 (Trump's loss margin in AZ) of the alleged 74,000 illegal votes in Maricopa County.

74,000 is a murky number that is apparently based on a remark that Logan and others have made which stems from a lack of understanding that early votes in AZ don't have to necessarily be mailed ballots and can be early in-person votes with ballots provided by the voting center.

It's difficult to understand the remarks made by those involved with the AZ audit. They make nebulous statements such as 'our numbers don't agree with the election board' without giving concrete details.

Mastriano is taking PA down the road AZ has gone.

Pennsylvania senator to seek subpoenas for election audit

    excerpt:

"Letters were sent to Philadelphia, York, and Tiago counties earlier this month. Mastriano set a deadline of July 31 and threatened to pursue subpoenas if they did not comply, setting up a process reminiscent of the run-up to the GOP-led Arizona Senate's audit in Maricopa County. Some officials in these Pennsylvania counties already signaled they would not fully comply with the request as things stood.

Shortly after Mastriano sent his letters, Pennsylvania's Department of State advised all counties in the state against giving "third-party entities" access to the equipment or they'd risk decertification."

Voter Fraud Team In Wisconsin Raises Questions

    excerpt:

"On May 26, Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that he was going to hire three former police officers to look into bogus claims of widespread voter fraud and other tips they receive about the election. They would be overseen by an attorney, they would have subpoena power, and they would deliver a report to Vos, likely this fall.

Republicans on the Assembly’s Organization Committee, which Vos chairs, voted two days later to give him, personally, the authority to “approve all financial costs and contractual arrangements for hiring legal counsel and investigators” for the venture.

A month later, there is no information on what Vos’s three investigators are doing, and it’s not even clear who one of them is. Their meetings, if they are having them, are not public."

Experts warn against ‘sham audits’ movement - Wisconsin Examiner

    excerpt:

"They say the Arizona “audit” is just the beginning of what is likely going to be a growing trend that will pit career election officials against politicians and start-up companies claiming to be able to do forensic and large-scale audits. They warn that without better public education, people could become more confused and lose confidence in what is otherwise a very safe, secure and — above all — accurate election process.

Moreover, the “spillover” effect from the recount in Arizona is giving some momentum to groups in Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin to begin audit election results that were certified and validated months ago. Four Wisconsin legislators were among Republicans from various states who took a field trip to Arizona to observe the ballot counting."

Arkansas GOP governor who is holding town halls to urge vaccinations said people he meets have called the shot a 'bioweapon' and talked about 'mind control'

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson said he is working against misinformation as he travels around the state urging residents to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Resistance to the vaccine has "hardened in certain elements" due to "false information" and "myths."

"As I go into these town hall meetings someone said, 'Don't call it a vaccine, call it a bioweapon.' And they talk about mind control," Hutchinson said. "Well those are obviously erroneous. Other members of the community correct that."
