DC resident Mark Ponder rejects plea deal in Capitol riot | wusa9.com excerpt: "On Monday, an attorney for the DOJ said Ponder had rejected a plea offer that would have called for him to plead guilty to a single count of assault on a federal officer with a dangerous weapon with a recommended sentencing range of 4.75-6 years in prison. In exchange, the DOJ would agree to drop the other 11 counts against him. Instead, Ponder’s attorney, Joseph R. Conte, told WUSA9 his client was prepared to go to trial on January 3, 2022. Conte declined to say what evidence his client might present to prove his innocence, saying that information was privileged. If found guilty at trial, Ponder could potentially face a maximum of 20 years in prison on the obstruction charge and 10 years in prison for assaulting a federal officer with a dangerous weapon."
I haven't been to a Walmart in some years ( I don't like their actions in pretty much every instance ), but I used to get a kick out of listening to the conversations to be heard in there!!! Intellectual heavy-weights. Walmart .......... the home of spandex-clad Twinkie and sugary-soda addicts.
WSJ News Exclusive | Trump Organization CFO Removed as Officer of Subsidiaries, Records Show excerpt: "The Trump Organization has removed longtime finance chief Allen Weisselberg as an officer at some of its subsidiaries, after prosecutors accused him and the company of a 15-year tax-fraud scheme, according to public filings and people familiar with the matter. The removal of Mr. Weisselberg as an officer from multiple Trump Organization entities comes amid discussions of potential changes in the chief financial officer’s duties, responsibilities and possibly title at former President Donald Trump’s company, people familiar with the matter said. Mr. Weisselberg, who has worked for the Trump family since 1973, is expected to remain at the company, the people said. One company that is facing charges in the same criminal case, Trump Payroll Corp., previously listed Mr. Weisselberg as treasurer, director, vice president and secretary on Florida Department of State business records. Now Mr. Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., is listed as executive vice president, director, secretary, treasurer and vice president on records filed late last week. His son Eric Trump is now listed as president, director and chairman on those records."
I've said it here before, but .......... In the 1980's, in a televised interview with Playboy magazine and a female reporter named Rhona Barrett, T**** said this ............ "The show is T****, and it's on 24-7."
".... Only in solidly red, white supremacist, fascist-dictator-friendly states." Not just Oklahoma anymore ............... sadly. Fixed.
1st Amendment doesn't apply to "free speech" for individuals either. Try wearing a pro-union tee-shirt or hat in some locations and you'll be told to take it off or you'll be fired (if you work there) or escorted out of the business. Can't have any message that supports American workers' rights here in "the good ol' U.S.A." THE REPUBLICAN PARTY has been attacking workers' rights for decades. Pro T**** or pro-Republican party / Chamber of Commerce shirts and hats are AAAAAA-OK. (In the U.S.A. anymore .......... you're only allowed to voice or support certain things / entities)...... just like Russia, China, Syria, Iran, Afghanistan, etc.
Due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to go to Walmart three years ago. Prior to that it had been twelve years. I vow to never return.
Fight breaks out after protesters disrupt Rep. Katie Porter's town hall excerpt: "As she spoke, a handful of Trump supporters began loudly interrupting her, the Los Angeles Times reports, shouting and calling her "Corrupt Katie Porter" and "Carpetbagger Katie." In response, there were chants of "Katie! Katie! Katie!" When several of the Porter supporters walked over to the protesters and confronted them, it sparked a fight, and punches were thrown, the Times reports. Porter ran over and put her arms around an elderly woman who was close to the scuffle, and officers from the Irvine Police Department quickly separated both sides. One Porter supporter was arrested and released on citation, Sgt. Karie Davies told the Times. In a statement, Porter said that everyone was welcome to ask her questions, and it is "disappointing that a small but vocal group of attendees, who advertised a 'confrontation rally,' created unsafe conditions at a planned family-friendly event. While I absolutely respect their right to disagree, their disturbance disrespected all the families who attended and were ready to engage in a thoughtful, civil, and safe way." Porter's team is "evaluating next steps," she added, but her "promise to Orange County families is that I will continue to hold town halls and to be in conversation with them.""
https://techxplore.com/news/2021-07-competition-biden-big-business.html Goofy has decided that the way to prevent the peasants from storming the palace with knives and pitch forks, is to declare war on big business. Since the republican party is having difficulty even wiping their own ass right now, its possible for democrats to demand lobbyists pay for all the damage in the lobby.

Somebody should have dialed 911, and told the Pentagon to let the National Guard do their fucking job. Maybe the dead cops will sue the Pentagon.
The president has control of the DC National Guard. Trump could have acted during the riot but didn't. Virginia and Maryland had to respond to Trump's insurrection by sending their guard. Before the Capitol riot, Trump wanted military troops to protect his protesters. Trump recently referred to Ashli Babbitt as a hero. She was at the front of the mob and yelling in the faces of the police officers guarding the door to the Speaker's Lobby, the last door before the House chamber (the House door was blockaded with the help of Rep. Clyde who later referred to the riot as a mundane tourist event). Members of Congress could be seen standing in the lobby and looking back at the rioters. Trump's rioters were smashing the windows and ramming the doors when Babbitt tried to climb through a broken window and was shot. Trump wanted military troops protecting people like Babbitt and the rest of his mob.
