... Good morning/afternoon/evening/night to my HIP friends. The weather here is quite nice feeling about right at 17c. If you wish you can look in on my LIVE CCTV stream from here in North Wales Colwyn Bay/Rhos On Sea UK to see the latest situation. The camera is situated just above our Patio Door. The camera may be off occasionally for privacy if we are in the garden. I am sure you don’t want to see Wifey or me! In that case. Please try later. Starting off the day with a cool morning, but I must run to the stores today. Back in a couple of hours
About 83F and a nice breeze here in New England today. Yesterday's thunderstorms didn't take out our electricity, but it sucked out the humidity, always a good thing. No running to the store for me; today being Wednesday, however, I have to call in my order to Geisslers. The groceries will be delivered on Friday. Made a stuffed pork roast last night with sweet potatoes, fresh green beans, and mushroom gravy.
Now that's a mighty fine dinner! Glad you enjoyed that along with some nice air. Sounds like a good day AmgelMama!
Last couple of days has seen some serious thunderstorm activity But then Imagine living in The Democratic Republic Of The Congo which receives the most lightning strikes on earth, other than Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela which experiences lightning 160 days annually, over 280 lightning strikes per hour, and it lasts for 10 hours.
I am in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, almost at the Massachusetts boder. Are you near, Brother? Your maps make it look so. I've also lived in Tolland, Hartford, Rockville, Manchester, (all in Connecticut), and in Turner's Falls, Massachusetts, and Brattleboro, Vermont. You near any of these places? Weird question, I know, but I'm curious. Raining here again right now, btw!
Not really I live in Newton Massachusetts just west of Boston. Outside of my years in the Air Force, I've lived in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Andover Mass, and in North Truro Mass.
Relaxing today after tropical storm Elsa came through, lots of rain and some wind. Today was breezy and humid, but not as humid as normal for this time of year. Thanks, Elsa?
My grandma lived in Woodville(part of Hopkinton, Massachusetts) on Winter Street; The Boston Marathon started in front of their post office at the end of her street, across the road from Wheelers Country Store (probably no longer exists). I was born in Hartford, Connecticut, which I saw on your map. That is why I was curious. I was also in Weekapaug, Rhode Island for a while.Spent the majority of my life in New England.
